I'm glad I missed out on this joke of a he-man series. The original MOTU and the newer one that got on Cartoon Network are by far better. At least the new one didn't venture off the beaten path when it came to the character's looks compared to the 80's MOTU.

ok, his face turned from grey to yellow, and he got some extra clothes. i think the crystal is really the dollar store, and he got some bleach and cheap socks for two bucks,

which is about what the entire episode probably cost to make.

Why are people always bad mouthing this series - so it moved away from the original filmation series - So what? The original cartoon and toy line were far from quality productions. This series should be praised for it's bravery. He-man's new design was an attempt to move away from the furry-pants wearing conan rip off of the poor quality filmation series.

Campbell Lane is a great voice actor, and I think that he CAN do a scary voice (see Rampage from Beast Wars) but I think this really wasn't one. I've never seen this show but from what I understand I think maybe if this had been something other than He-man it would have been better accepted, it was too different than it's predecessors.

I thought it was rather an innovative move giving Skeletor that different a voice; nobody could match Alan Oppenheimer. And once you got over the initial shock of him having a sense of humor, it made the character oddly more appealing. Oh, and "Elf"? Like the blurb says, this is from "The New Adventures of He-Man." I like the original and 2000 version version of Skeletor best, but I will admit that this is a particularly awesome scene and a huge improvement over the form he had prior to his transformation. I bet he was able to mop the floor with He-Man in that form.
