@josieonetoothh no, theres no lag, when you will downshift, 4.8k rpm (depends on ecu setup) and vtec just kick in yo! when you shift gear up at 8-9k rpm's (ek4 civic), u will be at 6-7k rpm on higher gear, so vteck still kick in yo! no lag, N/A ftw

i`ve seen h22 motor going up tu 700hp using f20 block. and it runs like forever. no doubt you taking a huge risk boosting a honda motor, but if its done right, can make one hell of a monster out of it. but for me, i prefer all motor. vtec is more suitable for me. used to drive an s15 silvia, now moved to dc5(rsx) im a circuit guy. kinda like the n/a feel.

Im a honda fan and drive a h22a prelude so don't think im fanboying here.

But 20 psi on an aluminum block that is not designed for boost in the first place is VERY VERY difficult to achieve, especially if you're intending on using it for prolonged driving and then if its track we are talking about forget it you'd crack the block in your first lap.
