its okay for Christians to have tattoos. yes, there is a passege in the Bible that says not to get tattoos. but if you read the ENTIRE passege, it also says not to cut your hair at the temples or to eat pork.

those were old Jewish coustums, and they were put in place because of safty and sanatary reaosons.

i agree with what XCOREhippe721 says. the bible also says that it is wrong to engrave your body with symbols having to do with the dead. i don't think God will mind if you get a tattoo as long as it isn't glorifying death or anything like that

I'm not disagreeing completely but I am disagreeing on somethings. XCOREhippie721, yes those are some of the old jewish law and no getting a tattoo isn't a sin, but if a non-believer sees you getting a new tattoo after you have become a christian it could potentially turn them away.

My thoughts exactly. And it just looks like a key to anyone who doesn't know the band, so it's not a big deal. I got to see the tattoos in person today at a signing they did. I think they look sweet.
