The OS UI looks smooth but all the apps are choppy/laggy. Looks like trusting Adobe was a terrible idea as anyone could have told you. Flash is such a dog, kill it already.

Can't decide.

The advantages of it against iPad2 are the 1Gb Ram against 532 Mb, and the Flash player. I wish it had larger screen and I wish iPad could play flash.

iPad2 still is an over-sized phone. Its operating system is a phone OS. icons clutter the screen. no context menu. no file system. no full-function-computer-OS-like multitasking like Playbook does. In comparison to macbook, ipad is a superfluous appendage to be excised from apple's lineup

@charieshane And yet giving the Ipad a simple modification (jailbreak) will give you all those things and more...seems to me they are already there...but simply hidden to those who don't need it....

And yet buying either blackberry or touchpad will give you all these without any jail breaking and more generous hardware configurations. If I were a regular consumer, I'd opt for it. Even if I am a techo, which I sort of am, I would still prefer the multitasking interface of blackberry / webOS, because short of creating a brand new OS for ipad, I don't see a mod can generate a new interface. Besides, a file system after jail break as a full computer, I think you must be joking.

@charieshane I've been using Ifile and proswitcher on my FIRST generation iphone for a very long time...I never did anything to the OS...I'm not a programmer....Ifile gives me full access to the file system...and proswitcher gives me WebOs multitasking...and there are many new interfaces that can be installed its up to the user...

@SuperMachead1 To add to my previous response, an OS reflects the company's positioning of the product. iPad is in every way a toy than a business machine, that is why apple never puts heart to the actual convenience to serious people than the advertising compaign. I prefer practicality and efficiency, and want work done to the best precision. I don't buy a tablet that needs the end consumer tinkering, because to me that is the definition of defective product (like iPhone 4 with the joke antenna

Looks ready to me. They need to sell this BEEYOTCH already. Gettin antsy. I got a second job JUST to buy this device (and all the necessary goodies for it i.e. screen protector, otterbox case, stand, hdmi out cable, docking station). After I get all of that, I'm quitting that second job lol.

what's the battery life with full HD? probably not worth having on such a small screen.. plus when he says "let's pretend that we just downloaded that.." c'mon you expect me to want to buy something where i have to pretend.. I think I still like the Ipad 2 over this..
