Axel sure has a weird character history. First he's a hero, then it turns out he's a villain, then his villain characterization becomes the primary one, except he's so awesome that he's a good guy villain, and then he's a good guy in EXCEED.

Also, voiced by Gut's voice actor from the animated adaption of Berserk, believe it or not.

Also, splurg your money on cybuster and daizengar. And if you managed to beat the 3 inspectors like 20 stages back, give the custom CPU to angelg/vysaga, steel soul to alteisen, and heros mark to ryokuu. This will bear fabulous results.

thats cuz you dont upgrade their defence and heal them constantly.

In Ex-hard mode R-eins have about 35000 hp while randgirths have 28000 hp,

Rathgirths are monsters with over 60000 hp. The difference is that R-eins usualy have def and off support and can acualy dodge you attacks.

In Super Robot Wars A, or at least the GBA version, you can upgrade 5 stats: health, energy, reaction, armor, and limit. Limit will usually be the smallest of the five, even fully maxed out.

I know what the others do, but I've never encountered the "limit" stat on a robot in SRW before, so I don't know what it's for.

Limit is essentially the "limit" of the machine. Basically, there comes a time when a pilot and machine output become so powerful that the parts of the machine suffers from extreme wear and therefore are "limited." Limit upgrades these parts so the machine can keep up. This effects the maximum limit for evasion.

I THINK anyway. That's how Limit worked in Alpha Gaiden, when my Isamu and Guld and their YF's had their Evasion stats through the roof.

I like to think that since Mai Suzaku is (generally) the strongest move Silly Axel will have, the energy/strength/whatever needed to use the attack temporarily, and only partially, resurrects his old attitude.

That or Silly Axel's just pretending to be serious at the time.
