For the record, they do not really play alike either, Malmsteen uses 4 note patterns way more and Gus uses 3 note patterns (of course not exclusively). Also Gus uses much more tapping for his arpeggios. Yngwie is probably the tighter player on the whole though but both should be appreciated, or rather you don't have to hate one to appreciate the other.
