@xKeyblader78 Ungarmax and Cid's Highwind both hit with 18 attacks - the most of any limit break, but the Ungarmax animation is way faster so is obviously the best for fastest time battles :-)

i beat ruby weapon legit also...i did use final attack paired with maxed pheonix so i wouldn't actually die for a while, plus mime and high level knights...i will admit that i exploited the w-item glitch for infinite elixirs to gain lots of exp from the magic pots in sephiroth's cave...

i think for emerald weapon, i got the thing that stopped the timer, used w-summon knights, and mimed twice, then some other stuff. very easy once you actually to max level and high level materia!

good strategy man, i went with; Cloud Solo, Knights, Hades, W-Summon, Mime, and equip Sprint Shoes to be safe. cast Knights on tentacles then Hades on Weapon then Mime till the cows come home :D you can defeat this weapon with 1Hp this way too.

i'd be happy to show anyone, complex materia combinations or how to breed a gold chocobo if your having trouble.

@superduperskaterr142 Actually it took a while still. And the strange thing is that i had to use omnislash on emerald afterwards cause it didnt kill him. I have no idea why. But the way i got them on 7777 is i went to midgar again near aeris church and then used mini on the opponents. that way they only give 1 damage when they hit you. then as soon as one player is on something with 77 then you kill them and go out and change characters and repeat the thing again. 7777 on them all :)

Sorry for double post, but here's the strategy : he equipped regen with sneak attack so he could use magic without losing a turn, then he used his limit number 3_2.

As I explained earlier, it had no effect, it was just a requirement. Then he waited Ruby to plant his arms in the ground so he could deals damage.

Ruby attacked him with a tentacle so the "Mime" materia took effect with Counterattack. He had about 4mimes on him. That the tactic, hope it'll help you understand.

Actually, the materia he used are hp plus, regen and Mime coupled with Counter-attack.

Lucky 7= you hit about 126times at 7777.

The reason why he didn't start with 7777hp is that when you begin with 7777hp, it becomes your first move. As a matter of fact, Ruby is invincinble as long as his hands aren't in the ground, he is only in this stand when there is only 1character left (which explains the 2dead people)

He may have sneak attack materia equipped.

Basically whatever materia you equip sneak attack with, it'll be used in the battle first, no matter what.

Example: Say I have KOTR summon equipped with Sneak Attack. It'll be used in the beginning of the battle before my turn would even happen.

@dynisty5706 when you have 7777 hp it activates something called all lucky 7's which makes you invinceable and always hit 7777 then he used the counter(blue materia(it is counter comand)) you put that with a comand materia(yellow materia) which you use mime... so he uses the spec. anger max which hits a small amount of damage 18 times... and with the lucky 7's he hits all 7777,18 times... then when he is hit he counters about 10 times with the limit... miming the last action he made.. : )

Ruby is found near the Golden Saucer in the desert sand. its the red thing you can't miss it. but you can't get to it unless you have a chocobo. Emerald is near the under water reactor. Use the submarine to get to it. These bosses were a challenge but the fights were still great. I was extremely happy when I beat Ruby to me that one was harder to beat then emerald.

I think it's funny how Emerald and Ruby Weapon are both WAY harder than Sephiroth. Exploits obviously make it way easy to beat them.. I suppose I exploited to beat them by using the reflect/demi trick on Emerald... it's been ages since I fought them, so I don't remember the trick I used to beating Ruby, but Final Attack + Phoenix definately played a part in it.

cheats, no, just real good math and knowing the order in which different things work. Also gil is very easy to come by. Certain enemies in the final area give boatloads of gil and that number can be increased heavily with the help of a little materia called "Gil Plus."

I do agree though, it's absolutely amazing to see people pull off stuff like this. Will have to try it sometime.
