ive got the cls 15s not the 215 ive got a small bedroom im running them off a crown power amp only 200 watts per channel but dont now how much they will take b4 the fuse goes any ideas

Nja, er ikke dyrt... Har samme greia eller bare cls 215 da, med største cerwin vega forsterkern .. 2.6Kw, de spiller bare 450 w rms da.. 8 omh.. funker fett, men er så unødvendig.. alt mulig dritt faller ned og sånn..

Jo da, det kommer fler filmer,en feil jeg jorde, var at cls 215 er vanskligere å drive en clsc 15 og jeg kjørte like mye kraft på de, så på den filmen så spilte nesten ikke cls 215.. jeg gjorde noen instillinger og da ble alt MYE bedre!, og Den sangen der er det VELDIG mye bass i , men det er bra mikrofon på kamereat, så det ble bra lyy.

they can easy take 400watts.. I used 1100 watts on each clsc215 before when i only had 1 pair of them, and i cant destroy anything else than the fuse, or.. i could, but not without a bigger fuse, or kick start on a high volume

NAD actually isn't very good for driving big speakers like the CLSC-215's. NAD is made to sound nice, not to pound. And when you're driving big speakers like these, you need something with a lot of power like a PA amp.

And he's not an idiot, he probably knows more about audio equipment than you.

NAD equipment is SUPERB for power-intensive applications, especially in the bass region. There are many setups of Cerwin Vegas that utilize NAD amps, and they perform beautifully. NAD has proprietary circuitry that allows exertion of consistent and intense low-frequency electricity to drive the speakers into solid excursion with great efficiency.

He was an idiot to say that NAD sucks - that's ignorant and stupid. I guarantee you I know more about audio than he does if he says NAD sucks.

Dude, all the Cerwin Vega setups on here that use NAD amps are either 2x10'' or 2x12''. You never see them powering 4 or in Yzkh's case 8x15''.

Like Yzkh said, NAD is excellent for smaller setups, but when you start pushing 15's and more power-hungry setups, you WILL need a power amp. NAD doesn't make any truly high-powered amps. I believe that the most powerful amp they offer is 180wpc... not enough for big ass speakers like these. Professional amps can easily put out 350+ watts per channel.

nope, if you want to put a nad on a Cerwin vega speaker, it had to be 10" or 12"s, or the speakers has to be a 4 ohm or less.. but the Clsc or Cls series is way to heavy when it comes to 15's to be driven by nads..

Nad makes amps that is great to use one small home speakers like 2x10" and 2x12".. But when it comes to 2x15 and more, nad cant handle it as well as a PA amp.. Nad has a great sound quality, but the watt is to weak for 15s" i had Clsc15 and Nad c372 and Nad c272.. And i blowed both of the amps cuz they could'nt handle it..
