I was born in Montréal, and still live there.
I have read most of her novels and can tell you she gives very good descriptions of the city.
Incidently, I recently came across a "Brennan Street" on my way to the Montréal Old Port.

Hi! Kathy Reichs is a native of Chicago, but she splits her time between Charlotte, NC and Montreal, Quebec.
