The American Serb I was referring to is Mr. Branko Tupanjac who donated this entire complex to Trebinje, his home town. Thank you, Mr. Tupanjac, from all of us. Mnoga hvala!
To all of you who have watched this so many times, thank you! And God bless those who remember Steve in their hearts.
This is the beautiful church built on top of the hill in Trebinje. The video is special as my good friend Steve Turcola is no longer with us. What a wonderful thing to remember him by. Dedicated to Jovan Duchic, the entire church monastery grounds, book store, museum, picnice grounds were all graciously donated by an American from the Chicago area.
In memory of Steve Turcola, age 59, suddenly September 23, 2009. Steve loved his family, Serbian heritage and music. He was one of the kindest and nicest persons I knew. God bless his family members who were everything to him. Steve is singing on this video with his Kosovo Men's Choir in Trebinje on our Serbian Monastery Tour, 2008. He also sang 'Oce Nas' in the St. Sava Njegosh Choir in Cleveland many times. This one is for you, Steve. We all loved you! Vjecnaja Pamjat!

I adore this. Thank you for sharing this - Even though the video has ended, I can still hear the singing. Deeply affecting, just as it should be.

The Men's Kosovo Choir is one of my favourites. The Church is beautiful and Rick Zivic is a wonderful choir director.
He's cute too.
Thanks for posting this Mimbi4!
