It seems to me like Bangladeshi business leaders favour rural women over urban educated women beacuse they want the benefit of their household work. Sharing financial plans in state buliding with urban women will mean having to share the household work with their wives which most men want to escape from. So they push educated women to the background and promote poor rural women to global media.
Whay does this video start with Islamic call to prayres from the mosque when it is that religion that's resisting women's progress in this part of the world? Why did Prof. Yunus only think about empowering rural women? What about educated women who are still pushed into the background in Bangladesh? Whay do some media focus so much on rural conditions of Bangaldesh on the global stage and not its educated urban class of women?
