  • the reference is of a pic you took yourself? whered you get it? good job with the colors and comp and style, but i don't really get why you did and orange base like that. Why not just start from the canvas like normal(/lazy) ppl, lol.

    You use weird brushes. They look like watercolor brushes- too soft. Oh wait. I paint acrylic. maybe that's why. Is oil really the amazing thing that its hyped up to be?

  • noone starts painting straight on the canvas when using oils. you have to start with a base. the oil eats through the canvas over time.
