  • I just keep the trash can in my start menu by dragging it on top of my start menu. Still no need to minimize.

  • no need for recycle bin. I use shift + delete instead.

  • how about you just drag the icon onto taskbar..............!!! thats all i done..

  • doesent work

  • its too late, i have a mac ;D

  • um theres no way to remove trash from the desktop

  • ja då ses vi på lördag

  • I love you!

  • but still there are 2 problems with that!

one when the Recycle Bin is full i cant know that becouse it shows empty all the time

and if i want to empty the Recycle Bin i need to get into the folder of the Recycle Bin.

  • Thankz

  • You could always press the show desktop thingy, but still good

  • Recycle bin is useless after all .. i always use the shift+delete keys

  • me2

  • I dont get it...ITS RIGHT THERE are you people that lazy to go to ur recycling bin?? XDD

  • Well its a pain when you are watching email/websites/playing a game, and realize there's something in your recycle bin that you need and you have to minimize everything and re-maximize it all again.

  • It's not to delete. Right-clicking the Recycle Bin icon and selecting "Empty" would delete it. This is just a tutorial on how to get the icon in other places. In this case, taskbar, but it would also work for the Start menu.

  • Garbage

  • For the mac you just need to drag and drop into the dock, simple!

  • i never need that

  • simpler than a method I came up with a few days ago. ^.^

  • wow, microsoft is kinda late on that one, ubuntu has the recycle bin in the taskbar O_o, why would you need the bin in the task bar though? who deletes that many files all day?

  • Can't you just pin it to the Task bar when its open?

  • No, because it registers as just another instance of explorer.exe and if you tried, you'd just get the jump list.

This hack tricks windows into not registering it as another explorer.exe instance even though it is

  • Awesome!

  • shes HOT!!

  • thats awesome thanks

  • I don't really see the point of this... I mean, you don't have to minimize your windows to access it now? Uhm... Wouldn't you have to minimize everything to find something to drag into it?

  • just delete it from your desktop and run Ccleaner everyday if needed... youll be good.

  • you can't drag a file into it? I haven't tried it yet, just asking

  • so.... why is that awesome???

  • Meh. I can't drag a file into it. Lame. Deleted.

  • Wow awesome...

  • Win 7 has properties and secrets beyond counting .. everyday they reveal something new.

Also Veronica is sooo cute ;P

  • Hmm... Atlast a really useful tip. :D

  • i'd love to stick Veronica to my taskbar, if you know what i mean :D

  • @cinexstudios lol

  • If Windows 7 has a Quick Launch, just stick it there. THat's where I have mine.

  • Task bar = Quick Launch.
