Before you strike it you have to peel off the wax. In the video you said that you don't need wax on the tip. The tip is actually the only part of the match you do need to put wax on.

Well if your going to take the time to pick off the wax, why not just wrap it in cellophane wrap? Or even better, put like 40 in a baloon, and tie. When your ready, cut it and light ur matches.

Don't forget to scrape the wax off the match head with your thumb nail before striking or the match may just smoke. happens frequently unless you get rid of the excess wax.

yea what you can do is take off the wax on the tip with ur finger nail when u r ready to light it and that wont happen.
