  • video uploaded 2006?!??!?! wtf i was a foetus back then.

  • Would've made just a good a theme or the Robin Hood series as the original theme!

  • WHORE

  • AWSOME!

  • Quit talking about Celto-Germanic heritage. Just because they have fairer skin doesn't mean they are the same. Celts and Germans are separated through Language, Customs, Lifestyle, and Ethnic traits, and back in ancient times, Religion. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. Just look at all the historic genocide done against Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, Normans and other Germanic folk destroyed and enslaved Scots, Irish, Welsh by the thousands, this war continues today. Fuck germans long live Celts.

  • @metalthrashin666, England was mainly Celt as well until invaded obviously, although at the time not everyone was 'wiped out' like we are lead to believe, actually recent DNA studies shown that still quite a few 'pure' Englishman have Celt DNA.

  • somehow relating to religion.

  • A lot of Celts left britain to settle in Britanny, France in the 5th and 7th century. Britanny is now one of the 6 celtic nations. They speak french and breton which is relative to cornish and welsh.

  • can anyone translate what she's saying please?

  • this song makes my nipples hard.

  • @Noblyuntruthful u a lesbian? lol

  • som relaxante.......muito bom.......

  • I LOVE ENYA MUSIC IT BRINGS PEACE UPON ME WHEN I AM EXPERIENCING ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION THANK YOU ENYA

  • if you guys like enya, look up loreena mckennitt. she has a similar style and her voice is gorgeouss!

  • enya has the most beautiful angelic voice i have ever heard in my life and her music is the most relaxing i have heard in my life especially when the kids are in bed

  • TA ME BEO GO DEO! <3 We are alive forever <3

  • what does celts mean?

  • @94Majid its short 4 'Celtic', ( letter 'C' pronounced like, 'K'.) Early Irish / northwest european type settlers... fairly spiritual... check out celtic art... :0).

  • @robinsdave1 The Celts didn't really come from north-west Europe, nor are the Irish an early version of them. In fact, the opposite is the case, the Irish are late-Celtic arrivals, while other famous Celtic tribes of the late Roman and post- Roman period were the Belgae (on both sides of the English Channel, Belgium was named after them), Helvetii and Iceni etc. The very earliest Celts were more of a western-central European origin close to 3000 years ago.

  • @94Majid Short for Celtic it's a culture of sorts including Irish and Scottish. They are also the culture where River dance originated.

  • @horsesaremylife31899

What has river dance got to do with "celts" ?

  • @hetrodoxly River Dance was created from the Celtic culture it doesn't have anything to do with this song

  • @horsesaremylife31899

Irish dance was created by Victorians at the earliest.

  • i really laughed when the girl tickled the king with a feather to wake him up from his sleepiness, I thought she will do some spellings or pour holly water on him some thing like that...

anyway this song is one of the best song I've ever listened to.

  • @Sportymike OK I'm sorry I am a Pakistani i don't know the real Meaning of celts but i like enya and her songs so much

  • @TheArslan48 Well it's ok, but do your homework. It would be like me saying Pakistan is in India!

  • @Sportymike OK then god bless you

  • @Sportymike The Celts settled throughout England and Wales - not only Ireland. In fact the centre of Druidry - the religion of the Celts - was Anglesey, in NW Wales

  • @DaemonEyre I quite agree. How could one dislike enya? She is like a light in the darkest night

  • if one were introduced to heaven and angels, this would be the music and enya's voice is what they would hear! so ethereal and timeless!!

  • Too bad Ireland is going to the dogs, it's people are being mongrelized, their Celtic genetics destroyed and their land overrun by non-Whites.

  • @The505Guys

I understand what you mean. I'm Belgian and people call me a racist for saying similar things. I just don't think that being worried about losing your identity is such evil thing. Our history is white and Gaelllic/Germanic. I don't see the use of Western and Southern Europe being overrun by fugitives with different cultures and languages. I'm getting to old for this 'new world', and find comfort in songs and text that remind me of other and better ages.

  • @NKismynextgoal CELT IS HELLENIC WORD THE REAL celts ARE HELLENES THE french IS HELLENIC RACE

  • @unfukkkmee

I saw your profile and you think that the whole world is Greek :-) Maybe you're right, maybe not. My worry is that the white western world is washed over by an 'invasion' of other cultures and races, and that our own background is vanishing and it gives you a feeling of losing identity, of being a dinosaur. And a Flemish dinosaur (not French) doesn't like kebab, ouzo, islam, hindu tradition, Starbucks,...;-) He wants old towns medieval towns, cathedrals, REAL beer and cycling :-)

  • @NKismynextgoal IF U READ REAL HISTORY U CAN SE THE HELLENIC TRUTH

I SPEAK WITH TEST DNA I DONT SPEAK WITH PANscandinavian PROPAGANDA LIKE U U ARE GERMAN AND NOTHING OTHER. THE BEER IS HELLENIC THE AGO 1.500 BC THE HELLENES CREATED the germany AND catholics ARE LIARS

  • @unfukkkmee

Every living human on this planet is a liar, not only catholics :-)

But let us not quarrel any further on the matter; I made a mistake by breaking my first rule: never talk about politics, religion or sports with somebody who doesn't has the same opinion. It leads to nothing and now it disturbs the most important thing of this thread: Enya made a very beautiful song with 'The Celts'! I hope we can agree on that point.

  • @NKismynextgoal KEEP THE FLIRT

  • @NKismynextgoal better ages? It doesn't make the slightest sense to me. What you say was indeed racial in approach, hence you are a racist.

  • @mssonnet26

Yes, better ages!! Begin young and no worries about reading 'Tintin in Africa' or seeing a black man as a servant next to Sinterklaas (the real Santa). Times when you were glad to be a white and European because no trouble from other continents threatened your existence. Hearing music on the radio that had lyrics and a chorus (not just yeah-yeah, copkiller-hum hum yeah). Good times when you could go on the streets without being stabbed by a Paki or an African.

  • @mssonnet26

And if that makes me a racist, I will honour the brand! But it doesn't change the fact that in a few decades from now, you will live in your precious little multicultural world and you will see that you have no benefits from it. There will be trouble all the time and if you belong to the white minority then, you wil suffer, because these 'poor fugitives' and 'willing newcomers' will do anything to eradicate this new minority. Good times ahead of you ;-)-)

  • @NKismynextgoal I will cry for you and I hope no one thinks the way you do

  • @mssonnet26

That's the problem with political correct wankers: hollow words! What does 'I will cry for you' mean? In my world it means crying, in yours it is nothing more than a way to say you're the better man/woman. For all I'm concerned you can go lick the asses of all newcomers, but don't even waste one single second on trying to tell me I'm wrong. I live the multiculshit every day, so I know what I'm talking about. Never argue with experience, even if you think you're smart.

  • @NKismynextgoal You are wrong, you are a fearful being and so you judge.

  • @mssonnet26

Wrong and fearful. In a 7 word sentence you made two judgements :-)-)

Fear is not the same as regret for mistakes other people made by destroing our western nations by dragging in lower life and enslaving them for material benefit. Our generations suffer the consequences with crime, riots, and the uprising of the evil of religion and the breakdown of western tradition.

I only judge what I see and know, and I can tell you that living in a region with foreigners is not a blessing!

  • @NKismynextgoal wise words friend,, now you see that hitler was right eh? stupid fucking world

  • @matamoros77

I don't go with Hitler. You can't kill Jews and make alliance with the Japanese :-)

I wouldn't harm anybody who did nothing wrong to me, but I just don't interact with other races if I don't have to, Most of them are still worse than animals. I love the way it was when I was a young kid: sun in the summer, snow in winter, everybody having the same skin and language, and all striving for happiness without doing evil to others. These 'new people' are mostly monsters.

  • @NKismynextgoal WE CAN BE MOSNTERS TOO and we MUST, we must fight and kill every scum that tries to harm our beloved white children wake up

  • @matamoros77

As I said: I don't harm anybody who does nothing to harm me or the ones I love.

I really don't believe in kill or be killed. I rather go for live and let live. But that doesn't mean I can't see the danger of people who are still close to their animalistic nature (blacks, indians) or who are religious (muslims, Jews, and all other cults).

I see where things went wrong, but what you can you really do against it?

  • The Goddess

  • Am I the only one who immediately thought of The Rave Theme by Trixxy & Vinylgroover?

  • Does Eyna Have any Christmas songs. She has a beautiful voice. I play her music for My granddaughter at nap time.

  • @Cheryl41356 I don't think so, but one of her cd's is called "and winter came". They are probably not very christmas-like , but they fit with the time of the year xD

  • @Cheryl41356 she does have christmas songs "white is in the winter night" and "o' come o' come emanuel" both absolutely beautiful but she has more :)

  • @Cheryl41356 she does, she released a special CD of amarantine with target

  • I wonder does Enya have Christmas songs

  • Damn it. This could have been such a great song if it didn't involve God.

  • @SculptedThoughts wheres God??

  • @Lusitanus God is the feeling you get inside when you hear the music from this Celtic Princess!!

  • @StateofMotion81 which God?

  • @Lusitanus God is in the box at the end. lol, thats what i think anyway . Look at how bright and holy the light looks!

  • @hatchetmasta I see just a light lol not God

  • Enya has a really unique music style that I appreciate but many of her songs sound overly manufactured. There's a handful of songs that I like which do stand out from the quick cuts.

  • OST: "Never Ending Story" my most loved of all her best ever! I played Enya loud and proud..this music is a classic..I can play it all day and never get tired of hearing it!

  • Enya is a rare beauty!

  • @Ferrychick1 And definately better than Katy Perry or Rihanna, at least in my opinion.

  • This song is the one my parents would play in the car, in darkness, late in the evening after visiting my grandparents. Ages, 5 till about 13 I guess. (Then we no longer had a car) It would always make me fall asleep. Nice memory, but somehow makes me sad that its impossible to feel again.

My grandmother left us not too long ago. We no longer have a car because of a job switch and I will leave the house soon enough. 19 years old now.

The song and the memories remain. I'll be glad for that. ^^

  • @TeshnosFire sad how good time flies

  • @TeshnosFire

i love that feeling whenever i hear and see something mystical and inspiring, however not so much when you retrieve it back. Truly a shame. Best song when you feel down and sorry for others with what they are going through

  • Very fresh, firm and invigorating diction to her voice. Beautiful mystifying song!

  • When my body rests I can say I have given this world my all no matter what the odds or the foe, given all my kindness strength and love! If the rest of the world could only realize this is only a fraction of their own possibility what a world we could make!

  • Enya's voice is so relaxing and makes me believe in fantasy; very inspiring.

P.S. Sorry, for the bad english, I'm dutch.

  • looks like pretty good english to me.

  • @kataangtokkafan No worries buddy, your English is as good as it looks... And yeah, The Celts is indeed a beautiful and melodius song!

  • No need to apologize--your English is much better than my Dutch.

  • Thanks!

  • @kataangtokkafan

Agreed, good english as far as i can see as a Dutchie myself XP

About the song, it's so beautiful but somewhere really familiar, not that i believe no-one ever used this melody elsewhere.

  • @skibum2k2

    Hmm.. can u speak Dutch?

I am from holland to, and i like to speak enlish, i have studied very hard to sound like a enlishman xD..

But do you learn dutch in school? or is it a class you have to choose?

  • I am so proud to be Irish!! :D

  • Well, I'm from Mexico, but I love the irish culture, specially the concern to the celts and their legacy. I really like W.B. Yeats (Inisfree!!!)

(Sorry formy english; my language is the spanish)

  • enyas music has the most powerful "riffs". haha, major influence on me.

  • Magic, just Magic!!! For this song could also be construed as this genuine & lofty ODE to that indomitable, irrepressible & ferociously determined Race--the Celts ((well, the Celts that invaded the British Isles 2500 years ago certainly mixed in to this Great Degree with all the earlier Stone Age/Cro-Magnon inhabitants that called Britain home!))! Yes, the Celts, the Greatest, most daring, restless, & most undaunted Race of explorers & pioneers that the human race has ever known, or ever will!

  • Thanks for this...makes me fly aways to a better place

    =(((

  • what a voice!!!

  • This is my fav Enya song!

  • This was from an historic series/documentary from around 1987 for the bbc and possibly rte. Enya did the music for the series.

  • Cant beat a good Celtic!

    Wales forever <3

  • @DeathGuardJJamie Agreed! Kernow (Cernyw) Bys Vykken, Kembra (Cymru) Bys Vykken

  • A crown: you see it being passed to the guy on horseback at the start of the video.

  • Oh yeah!!! Thanks a lot!!! Didn't notice at the first time :P

Enya as a queen, huh? :P

  • This video is interesting because that's actually Enya on horseback; not a stunt double.
