In fact, the opposite is the case, the Irish are late-Celtic arrivals, while other famous Celtic tribes of the late Roman and post- Roman period were the Belgae (on both sides of the English Channel, Belgium was named after them), Helvetii and Iceni etc. The very earliest Celts were more of a western-central European origin close to 3000 years ago.

This song is the one my parents would play in the car, in darkness, late in the evening after visiting my grandparents. Ages, 5 till about 13 I guess. (Then we no longer had a car) It would always make me fall asleep. Nice memory, but somehow makes me sad that its impossible to feel again.

My grandmother left us not too long ago. We no longer have a car because of a job switch and I will leave the house soon enough. 19 years old now.

The song and the memories remain. I'll be glad for that. ^^
