  • I want to do this also on my crank stands but what size global truss clamps do i need to fit and be safe on the dura truss crank stands? Thanks

  • hey brandon, what are the sizes of your wrap clamps? thanks nice apple laptop u are using now.. take care

  • how do you link them up together ? could you plzz make a vid how to do it :) thnx's :)

  • HIT ME UP DDINT U HAVE A VIDEO OR AM I MISTAKING YOU??? I SAW A VIDEO OF U HAVING TWO LIL LCD TVS ON A SPEAKER STAND N SOME SPEAKERS ON TOP??? HIT ME UP IF IT WAS U

  • that i sharp, i like that setup and am going to probably try that, plus I am going to need to mount 26" or 32" monitors to a single speaker or light stand, any help on that

  • I know this is an old video, but i just wanted to say, that is some excellent cable management on your truss :)

  • @chris19614325 thanks

  • I"m getting the American DJ Dura Truss....I wanted to put my 37" LCD on the actual truss directly in teh center and then put the lights on either side. I know you have the LCD's on the tripod stands...i was a bit concerned about how stable it would be with a 37" LCD attached to the stand. What kind of clamps are you using to connect the TV to the stand?

  • @tomlaur104 With the truss and the stands all together I would not go bigger than 40" with out the truss no bigger than a 26" flat screen

  • @stewardsproductions yeah, I am looking at getting 37" LCD TV's to mount on each stand and I wanted to use a LAPTOP to run my videos...but I was thinking that laptops usually have (1) HDMI output....how do you run (2) HDMI cables, one to each TV, with only (1) output from the laptop?

  • the most rental companies got plasma screens.. i've never understood why they use plasma screens..

  • @mikefx117 I know right ! thats why I went LCD :)

  • @stewardsproductions the more interesting thing for me is what you're using for input... just a pc with a photo slideshow of recent events or any kind of vj player or still picture processor (edirol cg8 for example) ?

  • hey good job bro how do i connect two lcds to a lop top im trying to get a set up like yours im using numark cue for video mixing and would like to know pls rply thanks.

  • Hi, could u tell me how the song at 1.22 is called?

  • Comment removed

  • what stand are they ??

  • look sweet

  • One more thing. How do you pack them up in your van/truck without damaging them?

  • I have cases for them

  • Damn, 2 of them. I've been wanting to add video to my dj setup, now I think I know how to make it work.

I was going to go with a projector, but I think a large LCD TV would be easier.

  • oh yeah

  • Hey Brandon, happy holidays! You got a very serious setup! I hope to do a setup like this in the near future. Good work!

  • I can't believe you set all your stuff up in 30 min alone! Really nice professional setup, I watched some of your other videos. I'm not a DJ or anything but I just bought a little mixer controller to play around with as a hobby... who knows!

  • Sweet Set up. Can you do a video on the Dura Truss? I like the 1.5" bar that runs the length on the bottom, did you add that? Since my crank 2 truss fell apart on the job last week, thinking about getting a dura truss.

  • The 1.5" bar is what I had to add so that I can put my heavy duty lights on it such as my 2 Martin MX 10 scanners, 2 Elation moving heads, and a Martin Wizard Extreme. This stand dose very well. You said your crank stand fell apart, how did that happen ?

  • It fell apart as I was letting it down (after the gig) I was cranking each side down a couple of inches at a time and it pulled out of the PLASTIC connectors. Let me tell you, it very violently came crashing down. I caught the one end and very luckily the other side landed on the crank stand handle. Nearly lost 2 ADJ 250 moving heads, 4 - p64 L.E.D.s and a Mystic. what did you use for the 1.5" bar?

  • It wasn't the stand that fell apart, on the crank 2 system its a ten foot 2 bar truss. each side of the truss connects to a crank stand with 2 plastic connectors. inside each connector is a clip. Now I'm asking myself what if a drunk banged into a stand sometime in the future,,, would it separate and fall again??? Don't need a lawsuit or a injury.

  • Nice setup, so on that truss you have everything pre-wired so this means you will have to transport it without breaking it apart? How long is that ? I guess it will fit in a van or truck..

  • By having the wires pre wired on the truss it self only takes me about 30 min to set the lights up which saves me 1.5 hours in set up time, I will do a video on how I find easy

to set this type of gear up soon.

  • Sweet Set up... Very creative. You doing your thing bro...

  • Hell Yea!!!! I looks really good...I was wondering if you can do a video on the attachment you made for the dura truss, I am getting this truss system in a few weeks so I would really appreciate it and if you can show the wiring also...

    Thanks!!!
