  • amazing song!!!!!!!!!!

  • My father is born at Falmouth.

I was born in the Switzerland and live now in Austria, Vienna.

But whenever I can I take my holidays in Cornwall.

The most beautiful Shire in UK :)

  • thks

  • dont forget the bretons have possibly suffered even worse than the cornish can you believe,,,,,language was banned in public for a time i think by crazy revolutionary frenchmen

  • hi nice video is this in the uk

  • High unemployment, lowest wages in Britain, bad and not enough housing, overun by English people, decline in industry ie mining fishing and farming, culture and ethinic identity not recognised, Gov'ts seem hell bent on turning the place into "Cornwallshire" All top Local Gov't jobs held by outsiders ie non Cornish. Apart from that not too bad...nice photos BTW

  • @WELLBRAN

Not overrun by English people, we don't stray form home. Overrun by people you think are English but we think are celts maybe.

  • @HarryGodwinsson Harry if you expand that idea of yours a bit well then maybe BRITON is overrun by English??

  • @WELLBRAN

Well turned round, The particular ethnic group from which I hail hasnt done any unwarrented harm to anybody. At the time of war between our two contries the Saxon honour code was strict so there wasnt any civillisn killing or rape or pillage. Contrary to popular Celtic stories. The REAL problem is in fact the Norman aristocracy who we now call the British government(BRITISH not English).

  • @HarryGodwinsson Well as far as Cornwall goes most Norman landlords were....not Norman but Breton if you see the ancient estates here many of the place names are the family names...how do I know this? well my family surname is one of those! the bretons had a deal with the normans to go after the common enemy...ie the English. Many Cornish names are interlinked and interchangeable with Breton names

  • @WELLBRAN

Thats understandable I was under the impression that the Bretons and the Cornish were the same people. Its ironic that they made a deal with the Normans and now look.....

  • @HarryGodwinsson mate decent ppl dont attack individuals..i respect anyone preserving the good parts of anglo saxon culture like folk music or storytelling etc...but i will not respect the actions of the state...hell if wales was a republic I would be criticising that state of course lol ;P

  • @3tangle3

I want all of the "home" nations to be republics including Cornwall. We'd all be happy then. In fact all English republicans policies include giving Cornwall a referendum on staying with England or becoming a republic. We're hoping you make the decision to "go it alone".

  • @HarryGodwinsson yeah man I would love to have a reset of the union and make sure we dont fund the monarchy/get rid...including a council of the isles to bring the irish back (all free republics still) get rid of that union flag as it has no cultural value lets be honest..UK was a great money making Plc.... could talk about this at length. I have family from all these nations, I value cultural variety and good family/community connections. I studied brit isles genetical history,if u interested?

  • @3tangle3

Yes I am interested, the Saxon republicans are trying to get rid of all the Norman bollocks associated with England (Three lions, God save the queen, st george etc) and replace with our own symbolry from before the invasion of 1066.

Out of a country of 50 million England has approx 18 million real English people and 1.2million of those have put their names on a petition for 2013 which will be the largest ever handed to Westminster. Jack Wilshere and Jenson Button are on it.

  • @HarryGodwinsson Normans took the law system backward in Wales for ages...if you read welsh law from 800ad...while I would hate to live under it now..its had equal compensation rights for everyone and amazingly no death penalty and women could lead..When a man near to my grandads in Mountain ash 1955, under english law was hung for a dead body his flat mate had buried in their garden..he was 28.

But I digress, neither the saxons or celts were innocent angels lest we forget ;)

  • @3tangle3

No nation can claim to be innocent angels but the country of England has long been blamed for Britains doings unfairly as far as I'm concerned.

Saxon law was one of the most thought out and modern of its period. As was Celtic law but the Normans brought there own ideology to "modernise" us. They failed....
