I have always enjoyed your singing.  This one, 夜上海, is no exception. Here I especially appreciate your showing of pretty girl posters, which were very popular in the '30's and 40's. They were sold on the streets of Macao, where I lived as a kid in those days. Wonder where and how you obtained these pictures.

5 stars! I love this song and you sang it very well! That's a nice collection of photos! I collected a lot of photos to make a video to the 周璇 version of this song and it is hard to find good ones. Shanghai fashions were so beautiful in the 1920s and 30s.

碗叮当，晓色朦胧『转』眼惺忪_應該是晓色朦胧『醉』眼惺忪。

這首《夜上海》的作詞家范煙橋是江蘇吴江人，江浙人一看歌詞就知­道是上海話。就像廣東歌讓廣東人看知道是廣東話寫的，閩南歌讓閩­南人看也知道是閩南話寫的。

別管年幼無知的人說無聊的話，我們明白就好！

其實，周璇把『衣食住行』的『食』字唱成上海發音，參照：/wa­tch?v=NjXYwDNhMG8

另外請注意一下，『華燈起 樂聲響　歌舞昇平』，不是『車』聲響，有人把『車』唱成『居』音也是錯誤­的。

題外話，上海話的『環境』發音很特別，跟國語完全不一樣發音。 : )
