it's the family computer if was to get rid of all their stuff that they had saved for whatever reason they did, then they would kill me. maybe when i move out and i get my own computer i'll get it.

thanks i appreciate the reply. cuz me being a railroader at heart. these people just, can't get their content to sound what us railroad people want them to sound like. and that makes me both mad and sad.

I can understand that, I know they try, but then the technology, for all it does offer, is still limited.

I know what you Mean, I've got at least 15 Locomotives, which all have 3 of the Same Whistles, but are Completely Different from each other. Plus, some people use Bells from Diesel Locomotives as a Steam Locomotive Bell, and It sounds Terrible... X(

betsy662, would you happen to know if the sounds for this game are actually recorded from real locomotives and railroads or if the people who make the game just use what ever they can find thats already recorded.

I have to believe that the custom content creators use the actual sounds when and if they can, on the other hand, the default equipment within the game uses more generic sounds, some of the older custom content also uses generic sound...:o)
