  • Here I am searching for lute music and I keep finding guitar recordings like this wrongly labelled as lute

  • Español

  • Amazing, I enjoy the fact I can listen to this style of music and then something like Rock or whatever. All music is just beautiful.

  • I love this song

  • Beautiful, beautiful song. I have no idea what the video says at the beginning though--you might want to double check the translation. Love it anyway and I'll keep listening.

  • A beautiful and traditional old English folk tune, written by King Henry VIII in 1520....spoiled by a video which shows the Great Wall of China!!

  • it is a myth that king henry VIII wrote it and it is also unknown of the year it was written in. Nobody actually knows for sure who wrote it and nobody will ever know for sure anyways. i personenaly dont think hewrote it but i cant really say anything either because like i already sayd it is unknown. sorry for any bad English!

  • it was written in the 16th century and most likely by a peasant/middle class to impresss.

  • actuallly it was written in the 16th century and the author remains anoymous

  • if it was henry he certainly didn't write it henry wan not a musician it MAY have been commissioned by him though

  • Henry did actually like poetry and playing music, yet nobody can say for sure that HE wrote it, although as you say, it might have been a request by him.

  • I agree! The first thing I thought of was all the slave labor that built it.

  • @troikagirl sorry but this tune is anonymous, not by Henry VIII, its only a leyend,...

  • Anyone know what building appears at 31 seconds?

  • is this really an old folk song, sounds like a Christmas song(can't remember the name)

what is the name of this song?

  • never mind, stupid of me:S

  • Greensleaves

  • 'what child is this' is the x-mas song you're thinking of

  • You might know it as "what child is this".

  • this is favorited

  • And it really helps. Clears my mind of unwanted thoughts and distractions

  • I'm using this song to help me study

  • Thats not a lute, its a steel string acoustic....sounds great though.

  • you should fade the pictures into one another to produce a smoother transition. As it is right now, the picture change is rather harsh for the relaxing feel you are looking for.

  • He is totally true. But I wiped this video from my machine already unfortunately.

  • doesn't sound like lute

  • I concur; Thís, people, is a guitar.

Still sounds very pretty, of course. ;)

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • thx ;-)

  • I like this song. (L) I did this for my love. ;-) Szeretlek! (:
