  • Looks like the floggers got, well,,,,,flogged:-)

  • Thanks to there training, rather than some Islamic ahole Praying to allah by the seat of his pants. Not than most Islamic believers are bad, Just the radicals, Same as anwhere, Just, who so extreme?

  • Smoke that bowgey!!!YEEEEEEEEEEEE.

  • Good use of a flight sim to tell an historical story.

  • THPLASH AND ANGELTHHHHH!!!

  • Haha, If you pause it at 40 seconds in, you can see the Ukrainian trident on the rudder of the "Libyan" mig...

  • In Iran-Iraq war F-14 Tomcats shot down 138 of 165 Iraq plane. 66 with Aim-54

Iran Lost 14 F14, but only 3 were shot down by iraqi plane, 1 was shot down by iran AA, 10 was destroyed by mail function (bad maintenance ) .

To day iran have 60 F14 in their fleet, updated radar, missile...

I think US retire to soon their tomcats, excellent plane, better then SH, with powerful radar...

BEST BIRD IN THE SKY, and i am from Serbia, but thats is truth....

  • @galicije83

My father was an engineer who worked on the AIM 54 phoenix project. 30 years @ Hughes Aircraft in Tucson AZ.

He told me that Our people in Iran removed a vital part on all the AIM 54s before we left the country, thereby disabling the Aim 54s and that no Aim 54 Phoenix missile had ever been fired in combat by the United States or any other country.

  • That at them recognition symbols Ukrainian?

  • That was cool! Good job man! ''I don't have a fucking tone!'' Too cool!

  • my father served in the navy during this he was in this area at the time he got out becuase of how dangerous his job was. my mother was also in at this time but on maternity leave

  • what aircraft simulator did u use? ys flight?

  • lock on flaming cliffs 2 f-14 skin on f-15 cockpit lol

  • @ZVERCO666 Fitters are attack planes that could pose a threat to the battle group. Either way, they were enemy aircraft getting far too close to an American carrier. The shootdown was justified.

  • this is the lesson for Mig driver; "don't fuck with F-14 radar"

  • HOOORAHHHH

  • I thought there were only two Gulf of Sidra incidents with F-14s -- 1981 and 1986?

  • How fucking retarded. The Libyan obviously won.

  • My brother in law helped write up the attack bombing Gaddafi's compound and was in charge of the Eastern Fleet back then. F-14's used in both attacks, and a great job.

  • i thought they were F 15's

  • Did we pick up the downed pilots or did the Libyan pick them up?

  • @Yakko77 Neither.

  • @Stealth42o Sucked to be them then! heh!

  • @Yakko77 They were splashed.

  • the first dogfight of f-14's vs Libya was back in the early 80's ! My CO was one of the pilots who shot down one of two migs.

he died piloting an f/a-18 landing in San diego

  • the first time we kicked thier ass, my old skipper flew one of the f-14's

    dropped em both!

  • @ddobbz99 Was that 1981? I read about that when I was 8, and it inspired my lifelong interest in international affairs. Good job by your skipper!

  • its a stupid video game

  • hahaha libya is fucked

  • Audio clips from this transmission were used in Falcon 3.0 intro (watch?v=S3XMm4vwjzI) and one the menu themes in Falcon 4.0. (watch?v=upQoiBl2hvc). :D

  • 0:20 F-15 cockpit WTF?

  • Holy shit that was intense thanks for the upload.

  • wtf

  • Dear Lybians: Play with fire and you'll get burned

  • The Soviets were so obsessed with quantity over quality that they started making aircraft which they thought might be good submarines as well. Submarines don't work very well with gaping holes in them.

  • So the Libyan pilots did eject and the F-14s reported "two good chutes in the air". It's unfortunate they were lost at sea anyway.

  • The the best camel

Jokeys dont belong in air planes eazy pray 4 a real airforse grow some n

Then talk to me we will kill u all bring it

  • the poor lybian idiots had no chance at all. there are easier and cheaper ways to kill yourself.

  • I'd like to see a gun battle instead of some pilot getting excited pressing the button and letting the missile do its thing.

  • @DojiSan i want to see you sitting in a plane with 2 enemy fighters ahead, guess you played too much HAWX my friend

  • su37 the best

  • Nice video. What game did you use for this?

  • is this the only real fight F-14s have ever been into?

  • @qiovanni 1981, two Libyan Su-22

1980~1988, Iran-Iraq war, Iranian F-14 scored at least 45 kills (some say over 100), for only 3 losses.

1989, two Libyan MiG-23, as shown in this video

1991, Desert Storm, one Iraqi Mi-8.

  • @milvipes

    wow!

    thanks :)

  • @qiovanni And bear in mind that Iran never had more than 40 airworthy (usually less than 25) F-14 at any given time, often with many onboard systems non-operational, so the 15:1 kill ratio was even more remarkable. Iranian pilots, trained in the US, were world-class,. Yet they're distrusted by their own bigoted religious government. Not surprising, given that pilots tend to be highly educated, which make them hard to convert to religious fanaticism.

  • parallel universes 9/11/11 i got the other one. Y2K bug some say the most beautiful aircraft ever made were the ones that went into the world trade center followed by the pentagon and philidelphia ones. Sanctions and forzen assets really weak, i mean work i mean quarks quarks comes from work up down top bottom strange charm strangness strange attractor.Homosexual pederasty manhatten project really worked two. HARP for the iran government think what they can do with California and Mexico.

  • @divisorplot Smoking the funny stuff before posting is not recommended.

  • @divisorplot drugs are bad m'kay...

  • @ZVERCO666 That is what we like to call "Misdirection". However if the Liybian goverment puts out a statement shortly after the incident saying "Two Mig-23's were shot down", I tend to believe both sides are in agreement to the platform used.

  • @Stealth42o Too bad that these two migs were not for export versions, with soviet pilots in control. That will be interesting!

  • @Stealth42o

dude we know the mig 23 and su 22 suck against f 14, but u dont need 2 point it out

  • @dcman1134 Ok

  • @dcman1134

That at them recognition symbols Ukrainian?

  • @ZVERCO666 unarmed?, use you head man the lydian air force will not send out unarmed aircraft to intercept possible enemy fighters!, of course there were armed!

  • This vid is fucking awesome!

  • This vid is f*cking awesome!

  • @ZVERCO666 like you would know....maybe you should just stop posting and just read......posting makes you look ignorant.

  • @ZVERCO666 The tomcats shot down Su-22s in the 1981 Gulf of Sidra incident, the 1989 gulf of sidra incident involved two MiG-23 Floggers.

  • "Shoot him!"

"I can i dont have a faucking tooooone!"

  • there was no fighting in Libya with mig23. There have been two bombers su22.

  • @Biogem369

WRONG look up "gulf of sidra incident on wikipedia

  • This video tends to attract some rather interesting (retarded & incoherent) comments from foreigners attempting to speak Engrish.

    啼笑皆非。

  • @milvipes Rather entertaining.

  • @milvipes Lol. Engrish? Yeah, it is funny. Try "English."

  • @jonesy97 English + Gibberish = Engrish

  • @milvipes Gotcha! Thx.

  • If you do not monkey ass licked amerikosy then you all would be well. And so the Yankees will come and put you all cancers sorry wake.

  • @westerflyable LMAO.. Fucking what?!?!?

  • @Stealth42o Lol. What the hell was that guy tring to say? LMAO! Great video. One of my favorites. I pop in every once in a while, and watch it again. Love the timimg with the animation. Well done.

  • @jonesy97 I have no idea, but damn it made me laugh.

  • Not easy to work on. I'm a former F-14 , F-4, F-18 mechanic. AMS-1 U.S. Navy retired. I was in VF-11,VF-14, VF-124, VF-2, VX-4.

  • Not easy to work on. I'm a former F-14 , F-4, F-18 mechanic. AMS-1 U.S. Navy retired.

  • @Stealth42o: Great recreation in flight sim and outstanding job with the full audio. i've heard parts of this on Cable TV and on a old VCR tape...but none like this. Fucking outstanding!!!

  • MAke Electro-Beats no WAR !!

  • @THEBIGCAGEY LOL, calm down you n00bfag...

  • Gaddafi's been a lesson because he clearly forgot history.

  • The events taking place in Libya is not USA or NATO bussiness what is happening there is concerning to arabs only, however the big oil companies and the people

involved in the process and sale of the petroproducts are always a threat to every

human being who opposes their greedy behaviour.

  • @MrSekanda Just how stupid are you? It's first and foremost a humanitarian effort. By your rationale that big oil is masterminding any military action, exactly where is your proof? If that were so, the US would have a respectable percentage of Iraqi oil. That simply isn't the case. Although IMO we should get reembersed for their liberation.. it wasn't cheap in dollars and US lives.

  • @stowse How can you call a humanitarian effort the killing of more civilians? have you ever been in the

middle of an air raid? well let me tell you I HAVE! and it is not easy to see all the pieces of people around

you, it takes an idiot to justify any kind of attack on another country because of the perception of the war

lords and believe me they are doing a favor to fundamentalist muslims. Please do not reply!

  • @MrSekanda Our bombs and missiles do hit the targets. It's just that there are civilians in that area of target. And just remember that when we drop bombs or deploy missiles, there are explosions. And those explosions are powerful and can reach civilians too. Give me proof where we dropped a bomb on a civilian neighborhood.

  • Awesome

  • what's the sim?

  • Gotta say that was beautiful!

  • Comment removed

  • What those F14 were doing 10000 miles from their country?

  • @MrJemelia Read the info tab above.

  • @Stealth42o I don't usually say this, but I must agree with USA stance here, those were international waters, be it 10000 or 1000000 miles, it's still international waters.

  • @MrJemelia Flying in Internationale airspace flying cover for the Air Craft Carrier when the Libyan's provoked the the F-14. Gaddafi sent the Libyan jets to Gulf of Sidra to shoot down the F-14....but that didn't happen. "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight"

  • @MrJemelia The F-14 were flying in Internationale airspace flying cover for the Air Craft Carrier when the Libyan's provoked the the F-14. Gaddafi sent the Libyan jets to Gulf of Sidra to shoot down the F-14....but that didn't happen. "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight"

  • @MrJemelia They were shooting down Khadaffyduck's M-23 Flogger Jets when they engaged the United States Navy F-14's FIVE (5) Times. The moronic Libyans deserved to be shot down.

  • @MrJemelia seriously? It's called Naval Aviation.

  • @MrJemelia They were defending United States cargo ships, since Gaddafi claimed that international waters belonged to HIM and that he would attack any U.S. ships in the area. Apparently, you think we should have allowed him to attack U.S. ships. Thankfully, the rest of the country disagreed. I take it you haven't studied this conflict at all before opening your mouth. Typical.

  • @rtrThanos Well actually they were protecting the Naval battlegroup. We've got cargo/ commercial ships everywhere. This was all kind of a lesson to put Gaddafi in his place; more of a political statement then anything . To say he was a real threat is like saying "WMD's" were the cause of 9/11. We've been slapping down there punks for years , and will continue to in the future. What do u think our tax money goes to anyway?

  • @MrJemelia they where taking out the trash

  • @MrJemelia doing their job!

  • @MrJemelia Protecting their battle group, in intl waters, which is what they were designed for !

  • @MrJemelia anything they wanted

  • @MrJemelia They weren't 10000 miles from their country.. They were less than 100 miles from sovereign US soil... know as an Aircraft Carrier.. which IS US soil!

  • @MrJemelia whatever they want...

  • F-14 is the most beautiful aircraft ever made

  • @evanylee I agree

  • @evanylee

    No, its not.

  • whats with the static between every transmit?

  • @b747dude Squelch is off, static given off by the universe is on.

  • stupid libyan pilots...

  • @oBrendy

true not only on this occasion in 1989 but on other occasions as well in 1981 2 Libyan Su-20s engaged F-14s and lost and in the Libyan Egyptian war Libya lost 20+ aircraft to only three to Egypt. one Libyan MiG-23MF was shot by a MiG-21MF if they new any thing abut dogfighting they wouldn't have any problem.

  • Fuking US shot Libyans ....

  • who is the Idiot that says "it is cheating"? Some Liberal? LOL

  • i know it was a real incident any idea what happened to the mig pilots? i know they both ejected but iv no idea if they were picked up

  • @eatthisvr6 They survived the ejection, however no one picked them up and were lost at sea.

  • @eatthisvr6 They were not picked up, The E-2C Hawkeye ( Closeout ) confirmed that no efforts were made by Libya to pick the guys out the drink. They drowned.

  • @307OLDS damn r.i.p

  • @307OLDS that's actually pretty sad. They should have made an attempt, or we could have picked them up if it was possible.

  • последние и первые жертвы - потом 2 кошки уже сирийцы сбили ( я офицер ПВО России мне рассказывали как в ливии было ) но про Сирию не знаю

а кстати потеряли именно от сирийцев двоих - в расчете ка говорят

  • F-14 Tomcats Cheat USING LONGGER RANGE MISSILE. HOW ABOUT DOG FIGHT NO MISSILE.

  • @TreAldMatVideo The second MiG was shot down at very close range, there was a dogfight. The Libyans just sucked at it.

  • @TreAldMatVideo it's not cheat.. it's a feature these planes have in that case the F22 raptor cheates because of it's stealthy design....

  • @xGarettx :-)

  • @TreAldMatVideo How old are you? This wasnt a game, it was war. Developing the best technology and knowing how to use it is called preserving national security.

  • @TreAldMatVideo Long Range? How about a medium range sparrow ("Fox 1" and "Fox 1 again") and a short range heat seaking Sidewider (that whole conversation about "fire" and "I don't have a Tone on the F'er") And if you listen, they where the ones trying to keep a missile acquisition on the Tomcats. There wa no cheating, Just stupidity of trying to sneek up on Tomcats (Even when the Tomcats had a lock-on before the MiGs even came Feet Wet)

  • and fighting terrosim. that is make me disaponted of USA. it is sham mate. take of your hands of people. let people live in peace, then they will you too.

  • @MrAussiman

You think those people were living in peace before the US showed up? You think the Taliban appeared overnight, like we made it up? There's some oppressive stuff going on over there. Honestly, I didn't care that they were killing each other, and throwing acid in women's faces if she didn't agree to marry the man she was being forced to marry. Not our problem.

We let people live in peace as long as they don't send people over here to blow up Americans.

  • I just wonder. what were Americans doing there? fucken moppets, they are proud of attacking peaceful people.

  • @MrAussiman Libya Peaceful? if they were so peaceful why did they fly out 100 miles out to sea to attack the U.S. Navy? if you listened to the audio the Tomcat pilots gave them six chances to turn back. if they weren't trying to shoot the Toms they would'nt have been shot down. plus they send terrorists out to blow up airliners. how can that be considered peaceful?

  • @kdraper2007 . Well, here is the point my friend. Imagen Libyan Navy comes close to American border not just 100 miles but even 500 miles. so what do you think U.S wuld do? and you are saying Libya sends terrorists out to blow, let's say that was true as your point f view. what do you call 100s of thousands of solidurs who attacking several countries around the world in the name of democracy

  • @MrAussiman

Yes, Libya sends terrorists out to blow. All terrorists blow.

The Libyan navy would never come near US borders to defend Libya shipping, because US would never threaten to attack Libyan shipping. It's stupid to even imagine.

If they could clean their own house, we wouldn't do it for them. Personally, I could care less if all the Iraqis and Afghans killed each other, throw acid in women's faces. But they need to control their terrorists, or we'll just blow everything up.

  • @rtrThanos. well, that's what Americans seem to anybody talk to.you r really brainwashed by US mass media. instead of presenting misinformation about Muslim life and mixing different issues together, give definition to terrorism first and then look at the reason why simple people travel a long distance to blow ur country up. this is if you are real American but i doubt, it seems to me that u r from Israeli people who's been fed hate in milk since was a kid.

  • @MrAussiman Libyians peaceful with Gaddafi running the show? Oh yeah, it's a regular fool's paradise(??). He's using his military to kill hundreds of his people. Don't you get the news down under?

  • nice dog fight man !

  • the f14 tomcat is a better attack aircraft than those shity big, im not surprised of the result

  • Hey I play this! LOMAC! Thought it looked familiar :D VERY good job editing, and the video quality is excellent. That's something I like to do in LOMAC; re-enact real aerial engagements. Thanks for this!

  • RIO: Shoot'em, shoot'em.

    Pilot: I can't, I don't have a f***ing tone.

As soon as the first obscenity of the chatter came out, the AIM-9 had good tone. Funny.

  • @terrysky83 The volume for the IR seeker was turned down, thats why there was no tone at first. Until they have realised it was turned down, they adjusted it back again and the tone was just there blaring like a mad dog. FOX 2!

  • Here's my thing. How would the United States react if a Libyian carrier were operating off the Atlantic coast and had launched fighters to patrol even remotely near the internationally recognized territorial waters and air space, or, as a reverse situation, remotely near the extended claims of territorial waters and air space? Would the US just let them patrol, or would they launch and try to protect that space?

  • @brianwesley28 International waters? Same thing we always did, observe the other, not lock on, and head at them.

Obviously, your missing some of the points. They take off, head to fighters in international waters. Those fighters give them plenty of time to turn away from the group, and changed course to confirm their intention.

Hostile fighters get shot down, simple as that.

The US has responded to numerious incidents like you described in the pacific. USSR Bears wandered close all the time

  • You would have a Libyan carrier sitting on the bottom of the ocean and two downed MiGs'.

  • @brianwesley28 International recognition for national boundries is 3 miles. the old Soviet union considered 12 miles to be soviet waters & airspace. the U.S. Navy was 100 miles out. as for your question about how the U.S. would react if the situation was reversed, just remember during the cold war Soviet Bear recon bombers would fly within 12 miles of the U.S. east coast quite often. the U.S. response, Interception & escort of the aircraft. same as the British, & norwegian airforces did.

  • @brianwesley28 The US would probably ask Libya why on Earth they have a military force off our border, but I doubt there would be any military action taken until they made an overt threat (beyond being that close to our border. Remember, there is a big difference between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Anywhere in the Med you are surrounded by dozens of nations. Off the coast of the US you are close to only one.

  • @brianwesley28 We would've destroyed them for being in our waters. We weren't in their waters, we were in what was widely considered to be intl. waters. Now, you can go fuck yourself.

  • @Streetdesaster Lock-on

  • Of course...it is the line of death.......FOR THE LIBYANS....:))))) HAHAHAAAAA

  • Do you call that "a successful mission"? killers

  • I don't understand why the F-14s fired on the 23s with no provocation apart from being intercepted. Being so near the Libyan coast, would it not be considered a reasonable act for them to have a look at who is provoking their defences?

  • F-14s were 70 miles off the coast thats not near by any means. The Migs kept turning into the F-14s that's known as a hostile manuver. The Lybian Gov said it would shoot down any aricraft in international air space in the Gulf of Sidra. There is lots more info on the net to show you that this was self defence by the U.S. fighters.

  • Nice try liberal cocksucker,

  • No, really. I am interested as there are encounters between US and Chinese fighters all the time. How do they get close to each other without firing? But anyway, you are the dumbest kind of idiot. You should study the word democracy. Heaps of your troops are (supposedly) dying for it. It means people are allowed to have different ideas. You are a reactionary wanker. You'd make an excellent brainwashed North Korean. p.s Stop thinking about cocks all day!

  • I thought the US was a republic, not a democrazy(pun). Can i seceede, so you cando your own peacenick shit with your liberal friends

  • If Libya had a carrier just off the coast of the US, I can imagine US fighters would do exactly the same thing. Russian TU-95 bears were always escorted up and down the US east coast by the ANG. If the Bear fired on the approaching fighter with BVR missles, would that not be the same thing as what ?

  • sorry - as what happened here. p.s Not trying to start an anti US fight, just wondering what constitutes an attack without weapons being discharged. If these were submarines, would it still be considered reasonable to fire?

  • In Air to Air warfare it is pretty obvious if your intent is too be hostile.

The Actions taken by the MIG:s were a clear hostile act.

If you wait for the other fighters too open fire in situation like this, you are allready dead.

And as for you submarine question, I can´t give you a good answer.

  • 1987!!!!! U turds didn't exist ......

Don't comment on shit if U didn't even hear this!!!!

    PO3 ABE CV-67 87-91

    GO NAVY!!!!! FLY NAVY!!!!!

  • MiG-25 Foxbat's should have been deployed to take out the AWAC's,leaving the Americans blind. Then the MiG-23's would have had a more even match.AA-7's are alright, but American BVRM's are much better.

  • @fixdeluxe1 @fixdeluxe1 No chance dude; even without AWACS support (in this case an E-2 Hawkeye) the Tomcat would still tear the MiG's a new hole. The Tomcat's AWG-9 radar can spot anything from 50ft-80,000 ft. If the radar can track 24 bogeys and launch at 6 of them, then there better be a lot of MiG's.

  • @crasskicksfukinass

actually by that time a new MiG-23 version entered service, MiG-23MLD which is a better version than the one used by Libyans, it had better avionics and systems.

the Libyans had MiG-23MS/ML's which weren't a match for the F-14s, maybe F-4s and kfirs would be a suitable match for them.

the ML however would be dangerous foe to the F-14 if the pilot was well trained and skilled.

  • Did they ever actually see the Mig -23's ??

  • Yes they did. It was a very close fight (For the missile age)

  • when they first saw the bogeys, were the bogeys heading straight at them? If they were how could they "turn into them"

  • @kingneptune117 You will hear the pilots say "Taking another offset" which mans there turning away from the migs, then the migs plot another intercept course back and forth till they hit 20 miles then the Tomcats engaged.

  • Hey dude, what Flight Simulator is that one ?
