Rat bag came out with the first outlaw sprint car game. It was for the computer. It was called Dirt Track Racing Sprint Cars. That had track deformation in it. It also had tire wear and realistic damage. 2002 version on Sony was awesome. It however didn't have tire wear. This new game is a step back in the right direction

The graphics are way better than Road to Knoxville and Showdown at Eldora. They are getting closer to ratbags WOO 2002 game. Showdown at Eldora had track deformation in it. That isn't new.

hate to say it but the company that made this game is terrible i have played there road to knoxville game and there most recent short track racing game and there so bad i actually bought short track racing and played it 1 time it was the worst 20 dollars i ever spent and this game is 20 dollars and is for 360 so dont get your hopes up im not but i did pre order it already hoping for a decent sprint car game like 2002 world of outlaws game.

While I don't think we'll please everyone, a lot of heart and soul went into making the game authentic and fun. For $20 I think it's a steal. We understand the passion people have for the 2002 PS2 game from Ratbag (I worked on that too). We've added online multiplayer, track deformation, and 24 cars on the track. Look for news on a PS3 release in the future!

Track defornation meaning, the track will change as you run on it, for example, the groove will dry out the cushion will build up, ruts will develop on the track.

Ah duh...thanks. I play dtr2 from Ratbag and make tracks in it using 3d programs and such and thought it would be cool to have an in game editor...maybe in the future.

I will still buy this game, but i think i will mainly stick to the Boz Sprintcars for rfactor, mainly because the cars actually "lean" going into the corner and dont handle like a arcade game.

I agree with you. BOZ has an awesome Sprint Car mod. But... there are always going to be better racing games available for the computer, than the 360 or ps3, just because the computer's can handle better graphics and can be programed easier than the consoles.
