Tomb Raider: Legend Alternate Takamoto Strategies

@stellalune I have to keep L1 pressed to lock on to enemies and move sideways. Passed him now thanks.

@stellalune ... Whole game.. If I move the L stick left then Lara runs left in a forward motion??? and vice versa for right.. Tried changing the controls in settings but no joy.. Anyway I'll plod along.. Tanx

@jambbie That's normal. It's just the way the controls work. If you're holding a weapon, she should strafe when you press left/right as shown here, though.

@jambbie I don't understand why that's happening. You should be able to move sideways using the left analog stick. Is this happening throughout the game or just during the Takamoto fight?

i wanna cry, my tomb raiders aim is only red upclose to him, not when hes on the other side :(. it is gray most the time

@gabrielekhavirel The rifle has a longer range than pistols, so the reticule will still be red all the way across the arena. You can still hit Takamoto when the reticule is gray, though, just not when it's white. Lara will miss some of the time, but since you're probably using pistols with unlimited ammo anyway, this shouldn't matter. See 2:10+ in the video. I use pistols there and the reticule is gray. hey hello everyone,......

I have bought a joystick and i play lara croft on my pc but when i connect the joystick i am unable to play with it...

But mind you i am able to play other games with my joypad..... can anybody help???? plzzzzz

@nirvana571 I find the Xbox controller works great but I've never tried a joystick. Tomb Raider games are notoriously finicky about which controllers they'll work with. You might try posting on the various TR forums to see if anyone else has been able to play with the joystick you have. Hope it works out.

Thanks a lot... agh I can defeat Amanda and her lovely pet but I cant defeat this guy. I cheap it using your save games :) but I am going to prove the last method :D Thanks ^_^
