But i would add also, that there's nothing wrong with a little vanity - It's a kind of pride one takes in one's image. Like a well shined car, or pressed pants, or shined shoes, or just whatever style a person wants to convey. After all, physical looks are a sales pitch we make to others without even speaking. They notice our looks, take interest, and provide us the chance to show what's inside.
