so that's how they do traffic, I was actually at a radio station in albany ny, and they never told me how it really worked... even though I asked since the same thing was on all of their stations. The only difference is the software, they use NexGen, and they don't have touch screen monitors
what website do you go for traffic reports????? I am a radio dj /board-op for a country station i mostly board-op for the traverse city michigan beach bums baseball team. Are you guys hiring if so i would love to work for you guys. I do have experience and love your station. Get back to me please
Nope where I live computers haven't replaced announcers too much more network stations have replaced local. You can have one announcer sit in one location and give the illusion he or she lives in your region.
That touch screen is really cool. I agree with gnr1234, I think it's cool that you upload your traffic report and get it to the other stations that quickly. I bet it wasn't quite this simple prior to a few years ago, huh?
