I loved this show as a kid, I remember watching it after school and when it was on Mtv .One day me and a bunch kids were playing around, I was a really hyper kid at the time and I decided to act like I was going into one of Ren's psychotic fits and the teacher caught me in the act and got into so much trouble, my mom found out and told me I was not allowed to watch Ren & Stimpy any more. I was known as the Ren & Stimpy girl in my 2nd grade class. This show was the shit.

@th3azscorpio i totally agree. Rocko's Modern Life was actually going to go on for another 2 seasons, but Nickelodeon decided to cancel it to make room for new shows. I can't really recall why Ren & Stimpy was canceled, but I sure damn miss it... boy, Nickelodeon fucked up big time. no wonder people dont watch it...well, besides 12 year old girls. Same with cartoon network. its called Cartoon Network for a reason, ITS FOR CARTOONS NOT LIVE ACTION SHIT.

They have every right to enjoy their shows, and it's likely your parents loathed some of your favorites too, because I know mine did. Truth is if you read the many stories about what happened including from Billy West, Bob Camp, Vanessa Coffey Geraldine Layboune etc.. you'll find out the Spumco continously dragged their feet and were late on delivering the episodes to Nickelodeon in NY and as a result season premieres and new episodes either missed their scheduled broadcast or didn't broadcast at all until later in the season.
