1. The shallowest person I ever met was a grad student who thought she's very deep.
2. In extreme situation, one is shocked and asks stupid questions, even if they're highly intelligent. I'm no dummy, and when I heard that 2 planes hit the twin towers I asked if anyone died. And I wasn't around dead bodies and continuous darkness for 10 days.
Lee knows something. He's either trying to protect them or corral them until 'backup' arrives. But something is obviously gone wrong with 'their' plan, as it's taking too long.
Why do they keep meeting in a laundry room? Where are all the car accidents, or random fires, etc?
Ok, it's a low budget web serial. I understand the constraints. I'm just saying...
One percent of 3.8 million (L.A.'s est. population) is about 38,000. And I won't take any conspiracy theory you've conjured up seriously until you learn to do a little math and how to use your native language.
I hate to say it but breaking this up into such small sections destroys the pace, it makes each part seem campy. There isn't enough story in each arc to make it seem tense. There's real potential here, but its squandered on the lack of continuity. This 28 days knock off needs to build longer for the endings you have each week to seem like more than molehills. Maybe I should wait for the series to all be posted and watch a playlist? I still think it would come across stilted. Just being honest.
Totally! While we love the bite-sized nature of our episodes, we agree that the dramatic tension is best built in longer segments. Chapters (chunks of four episodes--about twenty minutes long) are available for download at our website. Check that out for a more "filling" option!
I agree that the episodes really need to be longer in order to quicken the pace.

Why did 14 people survive, while billions of others died? What makes those 14 people so special?

Two points:

2. In extreme situation, one is shocked and asks stupid questions, even if they're highly intelligent. I'm no dummy, and when I heard that 2 planes hit the twin towers I asked if anyone died. And I wasn't around dead bodies and continuous darkness for 10 days.

Lee is the leader type. You can read the description (though it sucks, cos it reveals stuff, so read it only after watching)

marlies12 2 years ago
Why not, Maurisits? It has to focus on some region. Wouldn't you focus it on your hometown or somewhere in your proximity?

How can he say that there's no one else.
It's a big city. 500 square miles alone. Then there's the planetary population.
There are always survivors

O course there's always the one guy counting on the "authorities". I think the one guy who says "They're coming" is right. Later.
