The announcers make it sound like this is going to ruin the series or is bad for the game and in my opinion they're dead wrong. It's the passion and emotion that these guys showed back in the day that made me fall in love with hockey. Guys who cared for each other and stuck up for each other. Today's hockey is more like playing flag football with very few guys still carrying that intensity and passion.

The Rangers fucking blow and i think its hilarious when someone says the devils suck, in the past 20 years the devils have been the 2nd most consistent team in the nhl behind the detroit red wings. The devils have missed the playoffs three times since 1989 and made it to the stanley cup final 4 times winning 3 of them. in that same span the rangers have missed the playoffs 9 times, and only won 1 cup, after a 50+ streak of not being able to win the cup, i rest my case, GO DEVILS!!!!

I had MSG, which had all the Ranger games, but not Sportschannel, and unlike the Islander SP braodcasts, the Devils did not share. So I watched this game through squiggles and the occasional clear picture. I watched in frustration as the last BCBrawl took place in front of my eyes, but I could only hear it. They made it sound so much worse. Grave/lemiuex was only real fight. The rest mostly wrestling. But now I know.
