Holy Fuck , I have been searching for this song for 25 years .I only heard it once on WCWP Post College radio in like 1987 ,and I never heard it again ,I searched on wikipedea ,but now I finally found it . This is the ultimate Hardcore /thrash metal masterpiece of all time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@MrRiddla420 I wore this record OUT back when. The weird thing is that they did release an instrumental of this (only vocals were the chorus) & that stood on its own. I've met Mike & the crew a couple of times. I saw them each tour pre-1990 (except the first record). Rocky is VERY underrated- was then & still is.
@1987kyuss Bob Heathcote (front, Mike's right hand side) was the bass player on this record. Robert joined in 1989. Mike lost a TON of weight between "Army" & this tour. I was a bit worried. I had people I knew back then saw ST headline with a pretty up & coming group..... Red Hot Chili Peppers.
How funny I still look on my boys to skate. I was brought up on Suicidal. I was the guy that had the shaved head. I had my boy die in the stabing for this group. Renne, LOVE YA BROTHA.... We gave our thoughts and our lives at that time for a reason and we never looked back. This was our time..TY ST
thought I was going nuts, when I couldn't remember this song from the vinyl... turns out this song is on the cd version. cool song, thanks to the uploader, cheers.
I don't really put suicidal in a genre. They have so many sounds (punk/thrash/funk/skate) that they can't really be classified. They carved out a name for themselves
If ur talking about him growing up with them then *shrug* if ur talking about the no lyrivs thing then he is true... I got a cassette version which has no lyrics and the cd version does... go figure that... st4life !
ey little man talk no shit. you have to listen the old stuff that was more hc punk now its mixed with crossover trash hardcore but who cares SUICIDAL TENDENCIES IS ONE OF THE BEST FUCKING HC PUNK BAND I LOVE TO RIDE MY BORD TO THIS SONG OR TO KICK SOMEBODYS ASS
hey ,,, send me your money isnt on this album ,,, its on the lights camera revolution album/.// but i see how u got it confused tho ,, ST rox wooop peace
It's a variation of a D-beat i think... And this beat was firstly used by hardcore bands in a time were there was no thrash metal. This band begun as an hardcore punk band and then they started adding metal influences over the years. It's called Crossover Thrash. But there's no such thing as a thrash beat cuse all fast thrash beats came from hardcore punk in the late 70's early 80's.
How will I laugh tomorrow... 1988, is ST best album. By far, although 1990's Lights Camera Revolution & 1987's Join the Army are a must also. The top blend between thrash, speed and hardcore.
hellz yeah bro they wern't even supposed to be there, as i lay die'n didn't make it so ST was like we'll play lol it was completly random and fucking awsome
