The guy at the start isnt truely named Breton thats the name of his race he was so minor a char they didnt care to name him so they labled him his race happenes alot in skyrim.The exploxion u saw was gases in the air u ignited it with ur flame shout the air woudl have beeen wavy there if seen.lvl cap is 81 thats with all areas at 100.The mag user had a ward up u where striking thru it basicaly its a magic shield thats why she seemed to take ur attacks well.I could not figure the waterfall out.

The Unusual Gem you found is a quest that have 24 gems. I doubt you'll be doing it because it really is a pain in the ass. Finiding 24 gems all over Skyrim that just sucks. Some of them are in dungeon. Well some are in the Jarl's bedroom which you can just take.

The level cap is split into two caps; a soft cap at level 50 which slows down leveling up and a cap at 81 which to get to you have to max out every skill you can get passed it by lowering your skill level with console commands but that is the 'legit' level cap
