@Maridianokusho For your second question: Cause super glitchy weakness rape. Seroiusly, Look at the doctor Wily stage video for this game I put up, and another one I don't remember which. I killed one of the Robot Masters in like half a second when he got near me by spamming the space bar (shoot button.) lol
I managed to kill all robotmasters with unloaded plasma-shot.
I know that there are weapons which kill a certain master easily. And most of them i remind (in Megaman II - Vi (I never could play MegaMan I on myself :()).
I wanted to know how the weapons you got in this game function on itselfs, what they look like.
@Loruxz25 i donno there were some pretty good dos songs. like look up clydes adventure which i ahve some videos off, or the 4-5-6 episodes of commander keen. hell doom was a dos game and that music was epic
@Loruxz25 there's no music because fitting it all on a floppy disk would be tough. DOS games were limited by the storage medium. Computers themselves were far more powerful than consoles of the time. Notice how the whole level scrolls seamlessly, and there's no slowdown even though 10 things could be happening on the screen at times.
@mentalrectangle Makes sense. I remember this game was on like 4 floppies to install when I was a kid. Although some games far exceeded that (wasn't Doom like 12 floppies?)
@mentalrectangle I may know nothing about old storage mediums, but how come they could fit MM3 (18 levels) in a single NES cart the same year this came out?
@RobotwarsKing - Just like there's an OilMan in Powered Up, a WaveMan in MM5, a SharkMan in MegaMan Battle Network and a TorchMan in MegaMan NT Warrior.
Nothing special. The only one who hasn't had their name put into anything official is BitMan.
It'll be interesting to see if there will be an official Bit Man, though.
The idea of electrified drills didn't actually sound too bad...I could see them working as high-speed drills, tethered to an electrified metal cable, that could be fired at enemies.
In fact, It could work a bit like the Thunder Claw from Mega Man 8, except it could also latch onto enemies and give them electric shocks.
I'd love to see all of the PC Robot Masters rebooted and brought into an official game. Their games make them look like garbage, but they are actually not half bad.
All but BitMan from MM3 would have to be renamed, though.
@RobotwarsKing i tried to send a link to that game to aerial man like 80 times yesterday but fail ass fucking youtube wouldn't post the comment lol. but yeah it does look kinda neat.
true but .... fuck you (in jest), do you know how much of a bitch shark man is? oh guy hit you BACK UP oh guy hit you BACK UP lmao. i probably took like 30 takes on shark man's stage before i reached one enough to upload
And I personally think the original is the worst of the TRUE Classic series, but that's only because it randomly switches between extremely hard and pathetically easy.
whatever works brother lol. someone said i shld do a "perfect" run of both games, either based on my perfect run of level 1 of MM1dos or the pros of NES versions on youtube. i would love to but i just ... i dont have that kind of skill. sorry im kind of drunk
sorry for sucking the first time i try to swim when i hit that blade. this isn't a "perfect run" like some of the skilled players on the NES version do. i could try for fun, but im not nearly as cool as them. im just cool because i have the dos version lol
megaman 9 aint got sh*t on dat
frozenkiller7 4 weeks ago

These stages seem to have a lot of paths. Is it easy to get lost in this game?
IndigoUnnatural 4 months ago
Bit man = hard man
blade man = metal man
shark man = snake man + crash man
oil man = flash man
wave man = airman that can be defeated :P
torch man = magnet man
No one can say that the developers of the game (Not capcom) are not lazy as hell!

They should have named this "MegaMan: Underwater Adventures" It seems every level has some sort of aquatic theme.

Toad man, roll over, your inferior has arrived.
At the end you can see Santa giving Megaman a new vacuum cleaner.

I think there's no music cuz the music on dos would probably sound like crap and make it worse.

Well actually, the PC games are being remade in the fangame "Mega Man PC: The CRORQ Chronicles". I suggest you check it out, it looks pretty awesome.
And as for name changes, in the Game mentioned above, Oil Man and Wave Man had their names changed to Fuel Man and Hydro Man.

@RobotwarsKing - Yeah, it's a fan game being made by Yaweh_divine from the MegaMan Wiki.
I'll try that when it's finished. :D
AerialMan 2 years ago
@RobotwarsKing You're going to have to rename Blade Man too, now that MM10 is out.
MidnightMidna 1 year ago
@MidnightMidna
Suppose, but I'm not making the game. I was just pointing out that in the remake, two of the RMs were renamed for that purpose.
But for this Blade Man? I suppose something like Spike Man would be a reasonably good name.
RobotwarsKing 1 year ago
Blade Man = underwater/sewer level
Logic is clearly overrated at High Tech Expressions.

Took me forever to kill Yellow Devil. I can do it without the trick, but it involves knowing when and how to jump. Major bitch.
kungfro 2 years ago
On the plus side, in this game Mega Man actually has swim animations!
XinKotetsu 3 years ago 8
And he can actually SWIM, instead of jumping really high!
foxskywalker64 3 years ago
On the bad side, he floats. So unless you mash the down button like crazy, he'll go to the surface like a balloon.
Shadoboy 2 years ago
But it's stupid. He's a fucking robot. He's SUPPOSED to sink like a stone, not swim.

Yeah, but the game is ridiculously easy if you take advantage of the pause trick haha
PeskySaurus2 3 years ago
I prefer to use the glitch ONLY in one instance. And I can't kill Yellow Devil without it, so there we go.
