@bestwatch Well, I've found that people of more conservative persuasions tend to dislike the ACLU for being a bastion of (in their eyes, anyway) liberalism and trying to legalize the "immoral." I remember D. James Kennedy, a preacher my mother used to watch before his death a few years ago, was especially critical of it. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a racial component in the booing, but it's not necessarily that. Besides, be stronger than the people who are racist--leave slurs dead.
