What is the benchmark program?

I'm not sure if it's a problem caused by the encoder you used, but a lot of the scenes look like they were recorded by a video camera held in front of a computer monitor or television screen. I feel like I'm watching a bootleg film.

Actually, they were. Most of my earlier videos were done before I began using fraps. So this one, Butterfly, and Distant Worlds were all done with the very amature "video camera pointing at the computer screen" method. But hey, I never claimed to be a pro. I just like making these for my own fun.  At least I edit out the chatlog, which is my biggest pet peeve about most of the other videos out there.

Yeah, the chat log is bit annoying when you're watching a music video and it pops in and out of frame. I enjoyed the video, I didn't mean to come across as knocking that, it's not bad. The song is a classic and still one of my favorites, so huge thumbs up on that. ;) Keep doing what you do, I think you're on the right path.

The clips come from the opening movie, a few COP cutscenes, and the FFXI Benchmark III program (which I mentioned in the description ^^)

All the FFXI videos make the game look so much more exciting than it really is...

From the videos you see, it looks like it's an intense, action packed game...

But when you really start playing, it's like "Omg, lfp for 8 hours, how totally fun is that."
