It's wierd playing Halo Reach for over a year and then going back to Halo 3. I feel like a complete stranger to a world I used to know so very well for so many years...
Custom games until 3am with a bunch of people you know so well! Fat Kid, Hide and Seek, Garbage Man, Janga! Matchmaking Lone Wolves, trying so hard to get to 50! And then hopping into campaign split-screen with my friends over at my house trying a good ol' LASO run!
@SpartanGDOG011 dude stop with the dots.. it makes you look VERY stupid. Besides in halo they get mad when you get a sniper and constantly try to shoot you and chase you around the map. Halo is FULL of squeakers and teamkillers. battlefield has AMAZING teamwork. You revive people, distribute ammo spot enemies and repair vehicles. You can't do any of that in Halo. Lol no you have not played all battlefields. And If you have tell me how many there is I can't wait to prove you wrong!

This is what made me teary while playing reach. If Halo was just mindless shooting, there would always be some new game to take it's place. But Halo surpassed the expected from a first person shooter. Halo surpassed what was expected from the storyline. Halo connected us to the characters we played with and as. The music. The characters. The storyline. The details.These are what make the series memorable.
There comes a time in a man's life. Where the question of what to do at a certain point during a certain time, comes to mind. When you think about it. I have to admit that I have only played the campaigns(as well as multiplayer) of H3 and ODST so I am rather inexperienced in the Halo world. However this track is so amazing it somehow makes me feel like I have known the entire Halo series. O'Donnell is a genius...
Master Chief will always prevail in the fight for humanity. For every spartan the covenant has taken, thousands of covenant soldiers came down with them. We will never forget the losses for humanity in this war. We will never forget reach, we will never forget harvest, we will never forget Spartan 117.

Truly ground breaking. This song alone brought me to tears. Beautiful, just beautiful. I'll miss those times on Halo and cheerish the good memories I had. Even with it's faults, I can listen to this song and say to myself "Halo 3 was the best fun I ever had in a video game and some of my favourite memories ever". Sad to see it go, hopefully Halo 4 can bring back what I loved from the original trilogy.

in my oppinion the defining things about the halo series wasn't actually the gam play it was the community that came from it and bungies ability to take ideas from that community. halo is now one of the best games to make machinima in or have fun with your friends. in the end bungie had actually handed us not just a game but something that plays a major part in peoples lifes and will always live on through them and i have little doubt that 343 will do the same.,

Not to mention there was zero character development, all of their deaths could have easily been avoided, there was zero teamwork elements involved, tiny battles here and there, only a few good easter eggs, removed the fun from firefight, gave us nothing good to forge with, and removed actual rank and rewards AFKing. @TEHORANGEAVENGER I've never said a single thing about forge. I liked the system, but the environments were entirely bland and they gave us awful forging pieces. No dumpsters, pallets, movable objects, forklifts, trucks, etc.
@SpitShineT0mmy What really matters is the hitboxes and layouts of the maps but yes a little aesthetic variety beyond blue would of been nice. Since Microsoft expanded the memory size of 360 DVDs maybe Halo 4 will have more.
I love this series. I will Never Forget the sacrifices made, I will give One Final Effort on Master Chief's next Greatest Journey. It is a soundtrack as relaxing and beautiful as this one that makes me want to follow John-117 until the end. Halo 4!!!!
Bungie gave us a great run of games, all of them memorable to some extent, and all of which will be remembered and held dear. While Halo won't be the same without Bungie, there's still a fight to finish, and I'm with Master Chief to the end.

This is what made me teary while playing reach. If Halo was just mindless shooting, there would always be some new game to take it's place. But Halo surpassed the expected from a first person shooter. Halo surpassed what was expected from the storyline. Halo connected us to the characters we played with and as. The music. The characters. The storyline. The details.These are what make the series memorable.

There comes a time in a man's life. Where the question of what to do at a certain point during a certain time, comes to mind. When you think about it. You think of those that have died, defending your honor, those that have died, for the sake of freedom. It is then. when you wonder, why is war here? War is here because we want it to be. Aye we risk the lives of innocents by claiming stake. But it's the sacrifice for a new generation to take the torch, and fight the never ending battle, for life.

@NighttheWolf And while you're with the Chief, I've been with the elites to finish from start. Whether the Elites are in Halo 4, 5, or 6, I dont know. But I do know one thing. The Arbiter is always with John to the end...so those of you who play halo 4, 5, or 6, you won't see me unless the Elites come along. But if you ever see an enemy die for no reason, or a glowing sword or a beam rifle shot with no visible owner, know the Arbiter's with you. I'll see you in Halo 3 the best halo game. Ever.

Truly ground breaking. This song alone brought me to tears. Beautiful, just beautiful. I'll miss those times on Halo and cheerish the good memories I had. Even with it's faults, I can listen to this song and say to myself "Halo 3 was the best fun I ever had in a video game and some of my favourite memories ever". Sad to see it go, hopefully Halo 4 can bring back what I loved from the original trilogy.

in my oppinion the defining things about the halo series wasn't actually the gam play it was the community that came from it and bungies ability to take ideas from that community. halo is now one of the best games to make machinima in or have fun with your friends. in the end bungie had actually handed us not just a game but something that plays a major part in peoples lifes and will always live on through them and i have little doubt that 343 will do the same.,

@PackHunter117 They broke canon, added game-breaking features, removed game-making features, and removed the bright and colorful graphics we all loved. Not to mention there was zero character development, all of their deaths could have easily been avoided, there was zero teamwork elements involved, tiny battles here and there, only a few good easter eggs, removed the fun from firefight, gave us nothing good to forge with, and removed actual rank and rewards AFKing. Need I go on?

@TEHORANGEAVENGER I've never said a single thing about forge. I liked the system, but the environments were entirely bland and they gave us awful forging pieces. No dumpsters, pallets, movable objects, forklifts, trucks, etc.

I love this series. I will Never Forget the sacrifices made, I will give One Final Effort on Master Chief's next Greatest Journey. It is a soundtrack as relaxing and beautiful as this one that makes me want to follow John-117 until the end. Halo 4!!!!

Bungie gave us a great run of games, all of them memorable to some extent, and all of which will be remembered and held dear. While Halo won't be the same without Bungie, there's still a fight to finish, and I'm with Master Chief to the end.
