max q is the best quartet out right now. they are near perfect blend all the time. so insane and jeff oxley is the best bass in the world of barbershop. i want to sing with him soooo bad.
Gary is our schools new vocal music teacher, and he is amazing. I love this guy so much. We are amazingly lucky to have him. He's my inspiration and it's because of him and my band teacher that i have decided to become a music teacher. Gary has produced 5 quartets at our school in the last year alone. 4 actual quartets and one for our spring musical "The Music Man". Thank god for people like him. Because of him i have progressed immensely. Keep on rockin' G Lew!!
Geez, thats awesome for ur school. Since he left NV our choir program is still good, but not the way it was b4. But he left during my freshman year so I never got to have him. But sometimes I wonder how much better a musician I couldve been.
Keep in mind that this was a very cheap camera and most of the sound your hearing is very poorly captured. Most of the "overtone" sound is actually just a result of the camera trying to make a million pieces of information into 8 pieces of information :) Not to discredit the group or anything, but most of these bootleg videos aren't really showing accurate recordings of what these groups sound like simply b/c the recording quality isn't high enough.

Actually guys, it's me on the Ab. Tony usually takes the high notes, but on this song it worked better for Tony to take the five. Thanks for posting these songs from mid-winter cpjds1! It was fun to watch!
it's always such a seamless switch. you guys really have done an incredible job at that; you don't have the same palate lift thing that Tony does, but that is the only way i can tell it's you and not him.
Wow, good to see ya on here Gary :) I was in the NW Vocal Project youth chorus there...it was such a blast! Never been to a midwinter or international before so it was just amazing to hear all those awesome quartets. My bad on thinking it was you on the baritone note! haha

Gary is bari, the one on the very right, correct? Which Ab are you referring to? because the first post is an Ab by the tenor right? then Jeff takes the post, then is it Gary that hits the Ab (root) on the final chord? I thought it was tony who hits the 1. soo confused :( What did Gary do that everyone's praising him for?
Gary sings the final (high) root in chest. It's an amazing transition, so that you almost can't tell that Tony isn't singing it. It is definitely Gary on that last Ab

Overtones screw up the sound on cameras unless they're worth like $500000.00.
