Not only that the but the extra seats gained from getting rid fo first class adn replacing them with economy seats would increase the weight on the plane and thus increase emissions from the plane.

@BaggyOz saw that coming, if there was no demand for the 1st class seat then there would be 2-3 more seats in it's place. As for weight increase, I'm sure economy seats pay their weight. If seats cost more to transport then the passenger pays then every single fully booked flight would be losing money. Sure the airline industry is dead, but not that dead.

Simply pointing out that there is actually a higher cost on those seats, not a point worth arguing.

Heavier plane..... With more paying customers..... If each seat is economically viable to begin with.... Then the overall effect is an efficiency gain.
