  • hahahaah macmoooooook!

  • I know why you got your refurbished macBook like that cause Apple replace everything the keyboard, the screen even the trackpad. Basically people don't want to say "oh its a refurbished macbook pro" don't know why. I might get one maybe

  • thanks for posting this :3 you may have just saved me $300 hahaha

  • where did you get this from?

  • Do you still have the 2009 refurbished MBP? How is it holding up after a year and a half?

  • @nosredna2 yeah i still have it. it runs great still and haven't noticed any decrease in performance at all. i do treat it like my little baby though. haha

  • I ordered my 13"mac book pro (refurbished) yesterday and UPS will bring it to me today :D

  • @SGPflyers I'm planning on selling my 15 inch Macbook Pro Antiglare and get me a glossy one refurbished. From what I've seen refurbished Apple products seem worth the savings. Many say and I believe that it's the same as getting a brand new laptop but without the fancy box. Sometimes even the brand new ones can come out with tiny dents from the factory which it happened to me once and I returned it.

  • You cannot afford macbook? Check out offer at macbook7 . com You can get one NOW

    like it

  • is the refurbished macbook white ok?

  • Since you've made an unboxing video of your MacBook Pro, go check mines out over at my channel. =]

  • not worth it it has the core 2 duo

  • I'm looking for buying a refurbished iMac or Macbook Pro... Can you tell me if it runs like a brand new one because I don't think I have the money for a brand new one? Thanks.

  • i heard some come with dents and scratches is that true?

  • i just got my refurbished macbook pro, it has a blank screen when i turn it on. i called apple and now i have to wait for them to first call me back, send return shipping labels, then for me to send it back, then theyll mail me a different one. this sucks.

  • Thanks for the video, and you are sexy.

  • your mic is just annoying

  • hey how is it so far? im thinking of getting an antiglare 2.66ghz model....there going alot cheaper since the i5s are launched, does the mbp have an problems? did u find any bad/deadpixels? was tehre any scratches, overheat or any screen related issues?

  • were the cables and chargers brand new?

  • just the video i was looking for :)

  • you CAN buy that computer brand new for the same price apple charge for a refurbished one and you don't pay sales tax.

  • thanks man, I've been looking into getting this exact computer. I'm not sure if I should wait for the new update though. Any opinions?

  • where did you buy it from what store or website

  • so where did you send ur old mac to & how much did it cost?

  • Great video.... I want to get the refurb 13 inche MacBook...the pro is to expensive for me

  • Thanks times like a million bro. This is exactly what I was looking for bro, good looking out. Haha, you deserve a thankyou video.

  • What graphics card option did you choose with your macbook

  • I just bought the refurb 15 incher. Should receive it on Wednesday, how do you like it so far.??

  • i have a 17''....but i would like a 15'', too! Where did you purchase your refurbished one?

  • i ordered it from apple. i probably would only order a primary computer from apple themselves, but otherwise i am thinking about buying an old emac or g4 imac from ebay or something like that just to dink around with.

  • The notebook looks amazing. I have a 13 inch Unibody Macbook and it's a great notebook, but I realized that the 15 inch Macbook Pro is the perfect size laptop for me. I bought the Unibody Macbook brand new and it's in perfect condition, but I'm considering getting a 15 inch refurbished. so I won't have to spend so much like on a brand new one.

  • thanks dude. i was worried to about the conditions about it. thanks a lot.

  • Love your expression at 1:34!!!! That will probably be what i do when i get my MBP. I plan to get one next summer hopefully they'll have Blu-ray drives in them. How do you like the speed of yours?

  • oh it is great! put vista on it as a "just in case" thing with bootcamp, and OS X loads in about 15-20 seconds if that, and it takes vista at least 3 times that. I will probably just get rid of vista on it entirely. looks like crap compared to OS X!!

  • Wow you're a nice guy. This video is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a million.

  • Pretty new condition dude, hope you enjoy you MBP 15", I love mine, got it new though, get the Apple 24" LEd to go with that and you'll love it.

  • I just bought my 15" uMBP refurbished. It will be here wednesday! woo hoo!

  • you are going to love it. the best purchase i have made, as far as a computer goes. lol

  • you think the 13 inch is good, too?

  • oh yeah, they are all nice. if you are looking at a 13 inch though, you should check out the regular macbooks. they are cheaper, but it all depends on what you are looking at as far as the specs of the laptop go. i was used to a 15 inch screen, so that's why i got it this one, but would've gotten a macbook otherwise.

  • thanks

  • So there's no issues with the hardware at all? I think I wanna get a refurbished model too if I can buy one thats in perfect condition. My only worry would be getting one with a defect or something.

  • i would highly recommend buying the applecare protection plan with it, not only with refurbished macs but with new as well. not because mac's have more problems by any means, but they get more expensive to repair it seems, and not as many repair shops available. i think the closest apple store to me is like 3 hours away. any defective part is replaced in a refurbished mac, so don't worry about that. any part that looks used is thoroughly cleaned or replaced to look new.

  • they just can't resell it as a new mac, because technically it's not new anymore. no one would be able to tell that my macbook isn't brand new. anyway, if you can afford it, buy the applecare protection plan with it, just in case. :)

  • Hey, I definately recommend you buy the apple care as well but, I would wait until the end of your free warranty if you dont have the cash. It comes with a free 1 years warranty and they usually give you free apple service calls for free any ways!

After looking at it for a few months, I ordered my 15' 2.4 ghz late 2008 MBP on friday and It comes tomorrow. They became out of stock the minute after i ordered which is extreme luck :)

  • That is a very good idea! And you probably ordered the last one. Congrats. :)

  • Thanks man, hope yours is awesome. I just unboxed mine and Its the best computer I've ever owned

  • So yours must've costed $1299 plus tax. I wanna get the current one but wait until they deduce the price to $1299 which I believe would be after the next update.

  • they wont reduce, they will only up the price near the end of January

  • Nice video!

  • I just got a MacMook 13" new and it's great. Next time I'll try a MacMook Pro refurbished given your experience.

    Thanks.

  • if u didnt no when u buy somthing used like mac pros/airs they take off the plates front and back and clean it making it look brand new before sending it out

  • macmook lol :D

  • i got the refurbished 13 aluminum macbook it was in perfect condition also. Only difference i could tell is packaging and price.

  • what was that on the bottom of it at 3:26

  • hey, sorry about that. i was gonna put a tag on it but haven't gotten to it yet. that laptop was a little cold from being outside, so when i had my hand on it in that spot for awhile, it formed some "sweat" because of the temp differences. disappeared quickly.

  • Hey how much did you end up paying for it?? Also what are the specs are you 15 inch macbook pro? Did you buy directly from Mac? Can you still get the Apple Care Warranty and the One-to-one when you buy a refurbished Mac??

Thanks and sorry for all the questions brah.

  • the specs are on the side in the video info. i ordered it directly from apple, purchased the 3 year applecare protection plan with it and in total it was a little over $2,000 because applecare is like $350 in itself, so yes that is available to buy as well.
