The motivation doesn't make sense...it would be much more interesting if you wrote the monologue from the point of view of daughter who follwed her father. Instead of a modern liberal (all too common) point of view. What little girl has such strong disagreements with her father's religious standpoint?
Children, before they have been poisoned by prejudiceness that their parents or guardians have taught them are innocent. It is the adult who is the idiot. Some children are gifted enough to differentiate between this and won't allow their minds to become warped.
hahha this is funny. just a tip though if you ever decide to go an audition with this piece, dont add an accent to your voice, it takes away from your own natural abitys cause you might be asked to have an accent later on if some casting director were to like you or somthing like that.. but great job
