People nowadays have no appreciation in any form of art. Look at music and fashion now. Music artists just redo all of the old songs to get money and fashion experts are getting paid top dollar to sell their own opinions. Everyone criticizes real and personal art instead of investing their own energy to be creative in some way. Another thing, nowadays in order to get noticed for your art, it has to replicate a real image or has to be similar to a popular style. It's a shame, though.
