How can people do this, then go home kiss the wife and kids and go to bed?
This is a testament to the fact that greed will turn people into demons, this kind of activity is satanic, they are killing people slowly and they know it. But they make bank so who cares right? It really makes me sad.
exactly. These hypocrites were never environmentalists til it ended up in their back yards, nor did they ever have issues with consuming products that are made from the ruining of someone elses far away environment. They're all hypocritical morons. We'll see how they enjoy their 12 dollar per gallon gas some day and how they feel about nat gas then.
The fracking chemicals are not secret. Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, the Ground Water Protection Council, and the U.S. Department of Energy maintain lists of chemicals used by operators under their jurisdictions.
Apparently in USA, the morons who agree to fracking for CSG get paid for the privilege, here in Australia, the residents do not get paid, and it seems have no rights to block it. This is not about money, it's about poisoning your water catchment area for both the water basin (wells) and the water catchment area (that feeds your dams, or reservoirs). So, if you sign up for coal seam gas exploration, you are helping poison your own water supplies for whole district. Check the Gasland video
as a forester in pa ive seen first hand frac sites before and after hydrofracking has not been a issue here the issue is pure greed. the landowners name is on that lease you have a right to speek up and say no or get more info. once you look at both side of the argument then take a side not point the finger. face it economys bad this creats jobs and amarican gas not imported oil gas etc theres nothing stoping it. id be happy to fill you in if you have a good question
The Oil and Gas industry does not just runamuck. It does care about surround communities and those that it effects. It does not ignore the wellbeing of others, as others suggest. Granted there have been undeniable incidenents and catastrophes over the years of exploration all over the globe, but it is still a natural resource every American depends on. Please refrain from biting the hand that feeds you, as it will finally say....enough is enough...and overseas it goes.
@chaisecranston That is a lie. Go back and look at the countless THOUSANDS of law suits that have been filed over the decades against countless oil and gas companies for damages and wrongful deaths even and how many towns they have polluted and rendered useless. And there's still people who haven't got justice against those greedy criminals. Look all that up before you say "they care".
Excellent work! I have talked to several people about this and they have never heard of it and I believe there needs to be more awareness brought to the public regarding the consequences. Thank you for this report.
we all know this is dangerous. as long as someones making money off of it, someone will shut the public up and push natural gas as the "new clean energy" its sad. I watched GASLAND. i reccomend all of you do too.
Q.why is dick cheney not being held accountable? A. because it would be of little consequence because the cow is already out of the barn... the damage has been done. in the end money is the true evil, capitalism gone wild!
@grikney Hey it is because we cant prove it but we all know that the water is fine then they frac and its not ok.If you have not seen it yet check out GASLAND. & why do the EPAkeep calling of all the frac press meetings
you want them to be held accountable to the laws, then demand that politicians stop looking the other way, hold them accountable also for looking the other way letting the big corporations getting away with LONG TERM slow murder of peoples health, when they know dam well it IS causing health problems!
why do the landowners lease out their land for this fracking to take place?

Are the frackers willing to drink our water?NO! I would like to see them drink it just for a day, but I grant you they wouldn't be able to drink it.

Obviously a penny pinching operation. Look at all the commercial parking lot streamers they use to mark areas with!
