  • It's ze-lot not zee-lot

  • @labtec514 no its a zealot

  • @HoRzeNTarI Since you're a moron you should know that words aren't pronounced the same way they're spelt.

  • It's better to just attack a worker, it pays off infinitely more.

  • 5 minerals a time...

  • Its zealot not zee-lot, gosh. When will people learn?

  • @PascalSWE Lol i alrdy know how to say it correctly.

  • if you have your hatch on bookmark like you are supposed to and have an apm higher than bronze league, then you shouldn't have to sacrifice macro.

  • 0:15 zerg rush: the beggining of the game

  • wastes time though

  • FOR THE SWAAAAAAAAAARM!!!

  • The pure micro this requires would actually give him the advantage due to you having to neglect macro

  • "Early game where we (Zerg) are the weakest" lol 6 pool.

  • @AncientPharma not very zerg automatically 6 pools...

  • how you doing that the units dance ? O.o

  • @DeadSpacer100 he did a vid of it look in playlist

  • this requires alot of micro and focus to keep it up.

  • heh you harras yourself far more eficient than the enemy could do at this stage :P

  • so what drone do u scout with?

  • @EvilNecroid Many players send out the 9th or 10th drone. Might want to send one earlier for a large map in case of proxy barracks or gateway.

  • ull have 10 mineral advantage for 50 APM

    waste unless ur huk

  • @ShadyForce4 Well it does give you something to do during those slow first minutes, though you are right the difference isn't alot

  • lots of micro needed.. :(

  • just kill the drone

  • and if you lose the drone it was all for nothing

  • thats fuckin stupid, the mineral difference isnt worth the APM it takes

  • hahahah FOR THE SWAAAAAARRRRRRMMMMMMMMM, so nerdy

  • its not zeee-lot... its zEalot

  • @Siphtrex some people say zeee-lings, so he can say zeee-lot if he wants to its still correct. Zlot is broodwar style

  • @Siphtrex I agree, but I can see how someone would be confused over it's similarity to "sea", and the fact that "zeal" is pronounced "Zeel"

  • huk

  • so much microing required though...i don't know how the pro gamers do it.

  • @mxthorne Well most of the pro games I watch they dont, the only player I see currently doing it is HuK

But this is not something every player should do because it requires so much micro which probably will lead to you screwing over your build

  • FOR THE SWWWAAAAARRRMMMMMMMM!!!

  • Know what also works? Attacking workers tat mine the edge patches. I consider it far more effective because they're either forced to respond with a worker or two losing mining time or they lose a worker. Worst case scenario you delayed some mining and did some damage to the worker(s).

  • Far too much micro for very minimal (if any) gameplay advantage.

  • @JackTheRyder2 Something for the 300 apm players to get a few mineral advantage :P

  • wisper yelling... -facepalm-

  • @syritz Improper spelling -facepalm-

  • spam 8 lol

  • Huk does this alot

  • OMG .. thats great never thought of doing this!

  • nice dude

  • That are zealots, not zealots whitera...

  • personaly i dont think it has any effect cuz( well i mean if u disrupt a pair then maybe) but it really just makes his mining more effecient cuz u cuase his workers to pair up

  • I dont think this is gonna give you an advantage, because when you are watching his camp your camp left without command and i dont have a second to spare . So unless you have 2 screens and can multitask godlike it aint gonna work !!

  • FOR THE SWARM!!!

  • An opponent tried this on me. I watched the replay and his apm was really high but his production was really low. Not recommended unless you're a pro.

  • just attack it with one worker?

  • @iLuvHinata360 it's a good trick though, funny trolling.

  • @iLuvHinata360 if they do that, you can still deny them a gas, or 2.

  • for the swaaaaaarm.... lol

  • Well send that scout early while you are still making more drones.. Bind your hatch to something and just use hotkeys to make those drones... That way your macro wont suffer. Not like you are gonna do this very late after you should actually pay more attention to your own base. At that part your enemies will arleady have atleast one unit to repel off that worker.

  • Has someone actually figured out how many less minerals an opponent actually collects when doing this? it seems limited in its effectiveness.

  • yeah this is for any race. you dont have to have amazing apm for this. just have to pay attention to your base

  • sure is a nifty trick but my macro would suffer sooo much if i did this

  • Huk did it all the time at Dreamhack.

  • @0:55 FOR THE SWARMMM

  • @0:56 FOR THE SWARMMM

  • Aww most of these tricks are cool but completely not viable. at all :///

  • @xXTheThinkTankXx you serious? cause I know for a fact that pro sc2 players do this...

  • @Shvigity for what purpose, just to gg in the end anyways... ? You really think this will swing the match one way or the other you must be outta your mind.

  • @xXTheThinkTankXx if you have the micro to be able to sustain your base and do this it really does help you out in the early game. you're not doing anything with your micro in the beginning anyways, so you my as well be putting it to good use. And this is a trick not a "Do this and you'll win every game" tutorial

  • this is not a zerg trick, its good for every race and it can only be completely effectively by really good players like high level masters

  • I see this requiring massive apm and quite possibly causing you to slip up on your macro yourself.

  • FOR THA SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARM xD

  • Huk popularized this...

  • So Vitensby...I have seen this trick and think its great but it requires quite a lot of micro. What would you reccommend to make sure I am not putting all attention onto this one drone and nothing else?

  • @General0Petraeus i'm not vincent but when i do this i already have my hatch hot keyed and just drone up. I usually only harass like this until i get my spawning pool or until they take a gas which is when i take they're other gas.

  • And then the Zerg player realized he had enough minerals to make 15 hatcheries because he was microing so much :P

  • This trick might do more economic dmg to yourself unless you're carefull

  • Huk

  • This is a pretty cool trick, but do you think you can do something that doesn't require 900 apm, for us lower level players?

  • Why is this a zerg trick? -_-

  • ZEELOT

  • this trick always works, at least a little bit, even against a high level player (why not). And if the guy (no offense women, but where are you?) wastes a worker trying to kill your drone, it's a win anyways. Let's add this to our arsenal fellow bugs!

    Long live the swarm!

  • it works b/c most people won't expect it.

  • @elitetaurenchieftain also people dont want to take a worker off the line to chase a drone they probably wont get to kill :)

  • @elitetaurenchieftain very simply countered though, just need to force click the min patch, because as everyone knows each patch can technically mine 3 at a time.

  • you can do this as any race

  • @HUNTENMASTA1337 yeah but its a cheapo so it fits zerg

  • @HUNTENMASTA1337

    ..and ?

  • @HUNTENMASTA1337 but you cant take and extractor FOR THE SWARM

  • @humangs spelling and grammar dude

  • but wouldnt this not work against a higher level player?

  • @onelasttitan It works, Huk does it all the time.

  • @onelasttitan it works

  • I like turtles

  • didn't know that one :P

  • WOW FIRST COMMENT THUMBS?

  • @MrTeaminvision Noooooooooooooooooo!!! My life is ruinedddddd T_T

  • @bddblade Very Very VERY SORRY!!!!!!!
