STS-132 wasn't Atlantis's last flight. The newly scheduled STS-135 mission is going to be flown by Atlantis. That will be the last scheduled shuttle mission.
I was at the launch and will be meeting the astronauts in person in my hometown in a few weeks. Absolutely fantastic, and I wish we had more coverage of the Shuttle program in the UK.
The US Space Shuttle Program will soon end, but the Russians are already developing their own space shuttle, called "Kliper", which will be launched on top of a modified Soyuz rocket and will be able to fly to and from the ISS and also to the moon. Another space plane project is the UK's Reaction Engines Skylon project which is based on a single-stage to orbit technique which will be a lot cheaper and safer than the current space shuttles.
