"Landing party" is a variation of the Oceanic 6 theme that plays in the season 4 finale (There's no place like home, part 3), when the Oceanic 6 leave Penny's boat after having planned their fabricated story over a week on the boat. They are then dropped of in the Indian ocean and uses a dinghy to get ashore in an Indonesian village.

I don't think LOST was just any show, i think, it was a show not only made for our entertainment but also for a change, because it has definitely emotionally moved and captured the viewers hearts and minds. Thank You LOST and Goodbye ~_^

@csmlink1 I agree, it wasn't really a show that was a piece of popular culture, relevant only at the time and gradually fading out, but one that will surely stand the test of time and forever be regarded by true fans of the show as being timeless. For the people that do not appreciate the show, all I can say is they don't deserve it. In my opinion the show was utterly flawless, perfect in every way, and I don't think they left many important questions unanswered.

I'd like to say "it should be awesome" but everything depends on how LOST ends...and I can imagine that there will be no better end for the show (the actual end everbody is trying to guess), so there will be no need for a "second" part unless it's done by the same staff (and that would be epic)
