  • Superb!!! Always been one of my favorite pieces by Bach, and in my opinion you played it just right.

Too many people play it too fast, resulting in being unable to appreciate the melody. You've got the timing down just perfectly.

  • Oooo! One of my favorite pieces! When I think of the French Suites, this is always what comes to mind.

  • Very accomplished 'harpsichord' technique, I'm envious! J S Bach just sounds so good on the big J D Dulckens, I've a J D Dulcken copy by Klop, Garderen. What temperament and A (415Hz or 440Hz) is the instrument tuned in?

  • @PlenumPete

Thank You. The temperament is Kellner/Bach, a=415Hz.

Thanks for that useful information. I'm using Werckmeister III at the moment but I'll try the Kellner tuning, it does bring out the best of Bach judging by your videos. Good luck with your playing.

  • Bravo! Your playing and choice of repertoire is always exquisite!

  • @DavesTrumpet

    Thank You!

  • This is great. Cherfull funny piece. Kinda like a fugue is it not? Must be hard to play. Congratualtions!

  • @HerrWarja

    Thanks!
