The long and short of it is...Mr. Amano is one of the best artists in this style of creating planted tanks. I wouldn't mind setting up a tank like he has in his home.

in a heavy planted tank. u dont have to clean the bottom of the tank at all. as it contains the nutrients for the plants. so just pretty much leave it for the plant to do its jobs

If it's a full planted tank it's no needed to clean it, the plants take the dirt from fish and turn it into food.
