iMovie rule. Final Cut is like a caveman type of editing. You can edit a 3 minute video under 5 minutes while Final Cut it will take you 30-1hr.

ooking for some help!! in my spare time i like to play guitar and record a few covers i recently bought an imac with this imovie 09 and im struggling to sync up video to my music but im a simpleton when it comes to editing. i know this is vague but if any one could find the time to have a look at what ive done and offer suggestions i would massively appreciate. or you are in need of a project i would happily supply some music and video footage for you to make a video for me?

I didn't knew the new iMovie was that awesome. I kept using iMovie HD (old) because I knew how to use it well. But now that I know these handy tricks, all my iMovie HD skills are instantly ported into the new one! Nice!

ilove imovie 06 hd.imovie 08 was good but not enough editing stuff. i accidently erased imovie from my harddrive so i have to buy ilife 09. this imovie looks really nice. i had the free version of it before i erased it. and it was nice but i didnt know about this. it looks fine. they just need more EFFECTS.

i haaate imovie. the thing he showed in the beginning of the video with the drag and drop with a menu does not even happen! no menu! f movie it is so difficult to work with

@ilovecrap That's funny because it works just fine with us when we make our videos... Maybe you still need to go to "preferences" like he said and activate the menu first?
