I HATE THE GRAVEL SHIT LAYER ON TEXAS HWYS AND USA HWYS ALSO SAN AGELO HAVE WORST NOISIEST COATING ON IT ON LOOP 306 IN NORTHERN PART OF SAN ANGELO TX WHEN U COME IN FROM ABILENE TX AND BALLINGER TX I WOULD LOVE SEE THEY GET BACK ON IT AND REMOVE THAT STUPID LAYER AND PUT THE BRAND NEWS LAYER ON THAT PART OF LOOP 306 BETWEEN US 277 EXIT AND US SOUTH 67 EXITS AND ENTIRES HWY OF US 277 FROM SAN ANGELO TO ABILENE NEW BADLY BRAND NEW LAYER OF SMOOTH AND NON NOISEY ASPHALT

I've driven on txdot highways after this coating was applied, and let me tell you, it makes the road a LOT noisier...if only we could get the sealcoat without twice the noise?

We have blue lights because drivers don't seem to ignore them quite as much as the amber lights. We can only use them when we're not inside an established lane closure, though.

yea they are doing that alot where i live (north central illinois) How come the red/blue lights on the trucks??

They do look red on this ... but they're amber.
