Terrible test. There's no control of what angle both phones hit the ground. This test would need to be repeated at least 5 times to be sure the iphone is always ok like that. I suspect it wouldn't be, and that's the reason some people say the iphone it's damaged when dropped. Because it's true! Again, this gets back to the mentality of apple's targeted demographic who tend to believe everything apple is superior. Now it may be tougher than BB, but again this test didn't prove that.

also, what you could have done is dropped iphone 10 times. If it's really impervious to a fall like that, it would hold up. But if it did break, that would show it's not that durable, and it has to do with what angle the phone hits the ground at. But then I have to ask, what kind of guy would go to this much trouble to protect apple? I suspect if the iphone's screen broke, this video wouldn't have been posted. Try ONE random drop, if it works out, post it in the name of apple.

For one, that can be faked easily. For two, there are so many angles of impact... you would really need to drop at LEAST 5 of each to get a scientific result. My opinion? Meh, just another youtube video.

well that's not a fair test. you can't guarantee that they fall in the same manner and hit the same way and the screens on the two phones are completely different. One is free floating and depresses with touch (BB Storm) and the other is integrated into the body (IPhone).

Give me an apples to apples comparison and I will be more apt to believe your results.

stepped out of the car i almost fell down with my laptop but i went one step back than my hands automatically i don't know how it strongly hit into the stone brick very hard it shut downed i couldn't open it for 6-7 hours later on i put on the charge the battery was depleted the back case is steel it had little damage back - it works fine lol??? u know it should be fucking dead it fell 9232929 times off my hand and now it got hit and now it works? I agree this is Horrible. I felt so sorry for the iphone and blackberry. Iphone screen show that is more resistent but the back was cracked...Blackberry screen is not totally resistent to the impact, and also the back cover opened. But it did not got broken at all. This was a horrible test. If the screen cracked, the phone could still work. You never showed that. Whats the use of an "uncracked" screen if you have a cracked PCB???

Plus its not how high the phone falls from, its how the phone falls. If you jump from a height, you will be more hurt if you land head first than butt first! its physics. Apple didnt make a device that can withstand anything.

it depends how the phone falls, if it falls flat, you risk a cracked phone. If it falls horizontal, you're most likely screwed. who would drop there phone from a 3 story building

So this is a failed test. You drop broken phones off a building and say the iphone took the lease damage. But the screen might work on the blackberry and the iphone might remain black. No one will know because you couldn't do a proper test.
