over 60 fps, the human eye can't distinguish the difference, abode that is useless and waste of money ^^, i prefer to update my system overtime than buy the lastest and expensive stuff just to get 100 fps on the new game, prephaps a i7 is totally overkill for any game out there, gaming guys are really crazy this days, 8gb of ram or even some guys put 12-16gb just for gaming, i make a living with my computer and really 4 gb probably is enough for anything (not for audio sampling)

Nope , not cpu limited , fps is jumping from 100 to 130 in game and in benchmark mode is getting to 200 FPS .

I think as soon as ne drivers are released you'll get a better fps :)))

By the way , you should do a Crysis benchmarc but with the Phenom II , because on the net are a lot of benchmarks of the most GPU demanding games in pair with i7 and it will be nice to see how is behave theese cards and Phenom II .

Whish I had the time to try it out. I have lots of PC's and Crysis is on another machine, and to be honest I just don't have time to do as many benchmarks as I would like. Keep an eye one my channel and I might give it a go. Thanks for asking though :-)

I really like the way you explain the FPS. People always argue about FPS but I think your explaination is perfect. 30fps is playable, 60fps is amazing, 100+ is just being greedy.

I think you need at least 70 fps to play a FPS game like COD effectively. Otherwise i agree completely with you both.

Thanks. Yeah 60-70 is what you should be aiming for, though most people settled for 30+, as in crysis (In the early days of its release.!!)

I buy parts every month, you will notice the power progression, I build one, then want a faster one and then a faster one etc. I also build for other people. I just cannot part with them. I have actually sold some older machines. If you get your parts little buy little its not too bad. I am not doing any more builds as games don't need all that power. I will be going DX11 on all the gaming machines.

The 955 didn't have a decent Video cards,

just two old 3870's so thats why I was trying them out. They wil be moving to the I7 soon........Yes I am nuts......... ;-)
