  • the guy in the white shirt with glasses is an idiot. These people are just arguing because they think they are cool in front of their friends

  • By the way, my statement's were towards jacksnotblack.............

  • I agree with what this man says but he is doing no good and nothing but harming the christian community and disrupting our campus. I am a christian and it hurts me to see us "christians" to be labeled like that.

  • I was very suprised at the amount of people who disrespected and shunned the preacher. It reminded me of some of the parables about rejection of God's word from people. How can one even have the courage to say that this man is controled by a "book" that was written by humans. People relate with people. If Jesus would have written the Bible wouldnt people still be skeptical?

  • get off our campus!

  • NO!!! Stop being so intolerant of us and our message!

  • Stop yelling... I don't think Jesus Christ treated unbelievers like you do...

  • No, Jesus was a lot harsher!!!! Jesus was one righteous dude and he gave them what they didn't want to hear!!!!

  • I would thumbs up your comment but the user took that away too lol

  • Another prime example of why I left my church. I was a devout Christian until I met people like this. A message of fear, not love. It takes courage to refute such ignorant claims. Hah, he just yells, like Hitler.

  • Your problem wasn't and still isn't people like me. Your problem is that you love your sin. You must have had an idolatrous view of God to start out with and you definitely didn't understand what it meant to be a Christian. If you did, then you went from having your sins forgiven to having your sins damn you. Doesn't make much sense. Shows your lack of understanding when it comes to the Gospel...

  • Yep, ya love ya sin!!!! Take ownership of ya actions and thought life.......Ya can't blame anyone but your own lack of faith and trust in Jesus!!!

  • That would be a nice theory if it were true, I keep to my beliefs based on my upbringing as a Christian. I believe that if god wanted me to follow this man I would be. But it is simply ignorant, the fact that my campus allows this man to pass judgment on our students is a shame. He called a fellow passing female student a whore one of the days he was here, he does not know her yet he feels as if he has the authority to abuse our academic community with no recourse for his actions.

  • its not a choice asshole. how do you know any way. u dont. u just believe whatever that stupid book tells you. u dont know jack. you are not a scientist you are a puppet. just living by a book written thousands of years ago to control people. people are born that way. its not a choice.

  • Oops...that did not reply to the correct comment...sorry.

  • The girl with her hand up...is totally me! And he never actually calls on me...but I get in his face a bit in another video...not that he listens...

He definitely blows me off based on the fact that I was raised Roman Catholic...

  • Actually, I didn't "totally blow you off because you were a Roman Catholic". I just decided to stop answering questions and preach instead. There were many people there and I decided that the Gospel needed to be preached because it is the Gospel that saves...

  • Strange reply...since you made a HUGE deal about Catholicism not being a real religion...

  • It's not that it isn't a "real religion". It is just as much a religion as Islam, Mormonism, Hinduism, etc. It just isn't Christianity and isn't the truth...

  • Skelly bases his "truth" on a book written by human beings. He believes what he believes because ofg what was told to him, and what he has read in a book, written by humans. He has put himself in the position of his own god, in order to judge others. He cannot fathom that others think differently from himself, so he belittles those who think for themselves and don't need a book to guide them. He thinks morality comes from his god, but the truth is that morality is subject to changes in society.

  • Are you telling me that I am wrong? I thought that truth was relative? Without the Christian God there is NO morality. Without the Christian God there is no TRUTH. I challenge you to prove otherwise. By the way, it isn't belittling to tell someone the truth in love that they may believe and obey the truth...

  • The burden of proof is on YOU, not on me. Morality is a social construct, and varies from culture to culture. In the days of Jesus, slavery was moral and sanctioned by believers. A lot of Christians are murderers and child molesters. A lot of non-Christians are charitable and upright citizens. Chimpanzees have their own codes of conduct, and will attend to sick fellow chimps, as well as nurturing the young of other chimp parents. You have no proof of your claims, you only have prejudice.

  • "Proof"? What's that? Oh I get it, you are an empiricist right? You believe in what you can experience through your five senses, right? Well, if we are just products of random chance called Evolution, then how do you know that you five senses are even reliable? Morality varies from culture to culture? Is there no such thing as absolute morality? Is rape absolutely wrong no matter what any society says? What about child abuse? Without God you can't tell ANYONE that they're wrong!

  • How on Earth did you get to the conclusion that evolution was "random chance"??? If anything, evolution is the most complex and meticulous natural development in the universe. It takes place through natural selection, and is a slow process that happens over millions of years. Morality is constructed, yes, but it's different from human rights, which is also different from biblical teachings. Modern human rights (gay rights, women's rights etc.) are antithetical to Christianity, in fact.

  • You only have two options when it comes to how the world got to where it is right now: Intelligent Design or Random Chance. There is not in between. If there is, I'd like to hear it. I see that you don't like to answer my questions. I'll ask again: Is there no such thing as absolute morality? Is rape absolutely wrong no matter what any society says? What about child abuse?

  • Wrong! Evolution isn't random chance. Just because you say something is true, doesn't mean it's true. You don't need intelligence to evolve, you need time and cell structures. Lifeforms get more complicated over time. Why would a god create single-cell organisms, and then arrive at humans? Why not start with humans? Truth is that the most primitive lifeforms existed first. Human cell-structure indicates that we originate from ancient single-cell lifeforms, and that they evolved over time.

  • Lifeforms don't evolve in a macro sense. There is no scientific proof for this, just blind faith. What is making the decisions to evolve from one thing to another? Where does the new DNA come from for lungs, feathers, reproductive organs come from? There has NEVER been an example of added information into someone's DNA, which is needed for an organism to evolve from one kind of animal to another...

  • BTW, no, there's no absolute morality. You're mixing morality with the secular belief in natural rights, i. e. human rights. In some society, they'd think it was moral to rape someone in order to get purified, themselves, or because the woman is a witch or a criminal. Morality is subjerctive, based on culture, natural rights (human rights) are not. The human rights we have today have been opposed by most of the Christians in the world, like gay rights, women's rights, abolition of slavery etc.

  • Are you absolutely sure that there is no absolute morality? I don't doubt that there are societies that think rape is ok. But, does that then make rape ok? Are you saying that society or culture determines morality? According to the Bible, slavery is wrong and women have rights. It doesn't matter what "christians" have said in the past. As far as homosexuals, NO ONE is born that way. It is not like someone being born male or female or someone being born black or white. It's a CHOICE!

  • Again, you're mixing the concepts of "morality" and "human rights". Human rights is a secular concept. And no, in the bible it says it's fine to enslave the neighbouring tribes. It also says that a father can sell his daughter(s). In addition, no women were allowed to be priests at temples or churches. And no, homosexuality is caused by a mutation in the part of the brain that determines who we're attracted to. Gay men's brains look more like women's brains, and vice versa. It's a fact, sir.

  • Once again, you didn't answer my questions, I wonder why? I'll give you one more chance to go back to my questions in my last post and answer them. If you don't, then I will be done with this conversation. Are you calling homosexuals mutants? Ever heard of the Human Genome Project? They sequenced the entire human genome, including the x and y chromosome. They found NO "Homo Gene". There is no such thing! Homosexuals probably get brain damage after they choose to be homosexual (Romans 1)

  • What question haven't I answered? I'll be happy to answer any question. Every human on Earth is a mutant. Evolution is mutation. Some simply mutate differently. Just because no single "gay gene" hasn't been found, doesn't mean that the FACT that the brains are slightly different in homosexuals than in straight people, isn't true. I mean, it's a fact. I don't anyone would WANT to be gay, even if it was only a choice (which it isn't). Why CHOOSE to be beaten up, or persecuted by your kind?

  • The atheist can not give a rational account for his morality. He will want to say that some things are truly right or wrong, yet there is no foundation for such moral judgments. They no God in their hearts, and without this knowledge they would not be able to make sense of this world.

  • Morality wasn't invented along with the advent of Judaism or Christianity. Moral codes had existed long before that. Even social animals like dogs have a primitive sense of morality - in protecting their young, playing non-aggressively with each other, etc. To survive and evolve, sometimes cooperating and sharing--having a moral code--is just as important as competing.

  • Of course it would intellectually foolish to claim that morality didn't come on to the scene until the appearance of Christ during the Roman empire.

My claim is that human beings have made moral distinctions since they were created. Now, your theory of morality (survival value) raises some questions:

    1) What if one does not care about survival? Is he wrong? Why is his morality less correct than yours?

    2)

    1)

  • 2) Is morality evolving?

3)Are we obligated to follow our morals?

4)What about murderers, rapists, etc? Are they genetic mutations? Why condemn them?

5)How can you get from "what is the case" to "what ought to be the case"?

    6) Why do we place right and wrong on material processes? Is the secretion of insulin moral? Why are "brain secretions" any different?

  • As human moral code evolves, we enforce it thru social pressures ("you ought to do this" "that's not right"). The moral code also become institutionalized as laws, religious commandments, etc. Our laws are shaped by ideas that we humans generally agree are best to keep us alive, to help us get along, to keep us comfortable, to perpetuate the species, etc. A murderer should be condemned because s/he violates this social contract. Society does not benefit from having a killer on the loose.

  • Just wanted to add that human moral code is extremely complex and obviously we don't all agree on what's moral. The moral crimes that are most closely tied to our survival (i.e., cold-blooded murder) are mostly universally condemned. Something like whether we should have the right to commit suicide is a bit grayer--the person is simply choosing to end his own life, but I think some people fear that it may cause a general de-valuation of life/survival. Similar for pro-lifers.

  • Amen. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ, who gives salvation freely, or endure eternal torment.

  • guess this guy got his brownie points for heaven for saving the UNCC students

  • The girl in the black calmly stood there with her hand up the whole video. Maybe he should have asked her if she wanted to say something.

  • He never asked...I just spoke up eventually but he wouldn't really listen...because I'm Catholic.

  • Wow Check out 3:07-3:08 is that the mark of the beast on that guy in the crowds forehead or an optical illusion? weird.

  • I saw that too.That was freaky.

  • lol, that guy has a good sense of humor

  • oh my gosh! i was waiting for that time to see it! that was freaky!
